Hey guys, this summer I plan to work out a lot more than I lay around on my ass. I'm around 110 pounds at age 16 at 5'4". I'm already planning to reduce my soda intake to about once aday (no way i'll be able to kick it that fast) and to work out at the beach when I do go. I'm looking for a workout that will keep me in good shape that I can perform on a near-daily basis, and a workout that I can perform at the beach..
Also, I do not know much terminology for certain workouts so explain what you can. Thx.

Well hopefully you understand the terminology for "run". ;)

Seriously, look in every single thread that people have asked about workouts. EVERYONE has suggested running. Its one of the easiest (well, maybe not actually executing it, but the ability to do it is), most rewarding aerobic workouts that you can do. And hey, the beach is a great place to do it. Who doesnt like running around in the sand barefoot?

If you are wanting to bulk up and put on weight, increase your calorie and protein intake, and hit some weights.

I will laugh as they overwhelm our enemies in a flurry of spotted banana hammocks.

muscle build stuff. and run to keep your cardio up

muscle build stuff = any sort of weights you can think of, and what a lot of people forget, pushups, PULLUPS, sit-ups... any sort of "ups" you can think of

pullups are the most rewarding of all the "ups" i can think of. do as many as you can. they're hard at first, but you get real used to them just keep working and working, dont give up
