well, its 12:30 and i find myself hungry so i make 2 eggs mixed with 2 slices of bacon fried and chopped up all with some cheese and hot sauce on toast. just wondering if this is a good way to put on some pounds.

No... in fact if you're trying to put on pounds you should be focused on putting on muscle.... and muscle grows while you rest. Rule of thumb is to not eat after 9pm (on a typical days schedule). Plus what you're talking about doing is putting fat filled food in your mouth and your body is going to store it in fat since you're going to be sleeping soon and have no need to utilize the nutrients (since you're not doing anything but sleeping).

You're getting a not inconsiderable chunk of protein out of it, but eggs contain a ton of cholesterol (both good and bad). There are much, much better ways.
