If any of the modern PE guns become classics, I'm leaning towards the Ego 5 and SL66 with the obvious choice of the SL91. Unless MacDev revives Cyborgs, the RX may become a classic.

I'm thinking the Tiberious First Strike markers. They are one of a kind, no other marker shoots that paint. And then (hopefully not) if Tiberious goes out of business the lack of first stike rounds will make them even rarer.

Perhaps the Hostile Rogue?

-They're supposedly very nice shooters (if you don't get a lemon)
-Only a few were made
-And the company went tits-up, so they'll never be made again.

So, if you own one, and it's one of the few that works well, then you've got yourself a very very rare marker that also shoots amazingly well.
Techpb Mike doesn't use Trojan Magnum extra large condoms 'cause he doesn't believe in underboring.

Techpb Mike doesn't hide behind cover. Instead, he shoots down incoming paintballs.

Might sound strange but any company that goes out of buisness will be great! Smart part guns at first were worth a ton, but if they didn't come bak as GoG the guns would be done a lot better then usual

Regency Chrome?

Goblin Deuce?

Perhaps the Mokal Aura, if it continues to sell slowly then develops a following after it ceases production.

I believe that Quests will definitely become vintage, along side DM3's.

If Eclipse didn't make a second generation of Etha's, it would probably be a collectors Item in a couple years

Put your opinion on which guns purchased today, will be worth alot of money in the future

In my opinion, the WGP Karnivor is going to be worth a fortune in the future. Think of the Nexus Autocockers, the Karni almost rivals that in terms of quality of build, etc

You can get them for $400 right now from FirstCall

Don't open the box, don't mess with it, put it in your attic. In about 5 to 10 years, they'll be worth 3 times that price

Sweet, I just bought one!

I show up at a field that I never been to before for some rec-play wearing cargo pants with a t-shirt....carrying a old mech Spyder and two pringle potato chip cans for pods shoved in the pants pockets. The stares are priceless and after the first game or so you get to see the grins from the ref and players who know....priceless.

imo the DM series and the EGO series (assuming these lines continue) are the only current new markers that won't be forgotten, and of course bob long guns for bob long fans.

Private label shockers. If you can get a lnib unmolested private label shocker of any kind its an instant classic.  They are hard to come even today because when people get shockers they instantly start throwing aftermarket parts on them.

Search "shocker"  in the pbnation search bar and see how many stock shockers you come by. You won't find many.

I gotta put a phantom up here, even though i hope to god they never stop being produced, its a possibility

Why? a Phantom is a great gun. Period.

The Ego9 is a great gun.Period.

a phantom has nothing evolutionary that distinguishes in looks or performance to any other nelson gun.

I would go with the Carter duck after earon dies. or an E Blazer, an E Stroker or typhoon. or Tornado

I'm thinking E-mags and X-mags have the possibility to be collectors items in the future, X-mags especially. Before the X7 Phenom and Crossover, which marker would be able to operate electronically, pure mechanically, and in a hybrid mode? Plus, they aren't produced anymore.

X-Mags are pretty much already well on their way to being classics, E-mags not as much only because they were produced for much longer then the X-mags were, but later down the road they may become harder to find.

Dont forget about the SFL E-mags though, only about 35-40 are known to be in existence, and when one of them goes up for sale they normally sell for 3k+

Well the problem with palmers is that he still sells the same guns he sold 20 years ago, for the same price

It's hard for something to become a classic, when it's still on the shelf

To become a classic, it must-

1) Have some sort of unique trait about it
2) Be out of production
3) still have some sort of cult following
4) Still be functional even after a few years

when i hear that, i think of macdev guns. maybe 20-30 years from now, there value will increase.

I think any marker that is rare at the moment will be extremely valuable in about 10 years. I am talking about kp2/3's, 007's, pgp's, older BE stuff, palmers, various cockers, nova's, splatmasters, and especially custom work like punishers, doc's and ect.

from todays market maybe the airowgun, mini, m-tac... Its hard to say really, it depends on the future of our sport and which direction it takes.

Does that mean my Brass Eagle Avenger will be worth thousands in 5 or 6 years lol? I would have to get it fixed though.

.I never know what to put in these things.

Definitely the original 98, unique- doesn't fail cult- all the newbies out of production-every thing eventually does still functional after a few years-98 always will.
I believe it eventually will especially some of the first produtions not the ones with act.

Hostile Rogues are really oddball guns, I'd expect them to be rare in the future.
