Once again as I've seen pointed out by other users, TENACIOUS, has become a little overzealous in his duties, yet will not defend his actions. He gave me a warning for spam, which I felt was extremely uncalled for. I commented on a conversation and he OBVIOUSLY did not read the thread to see if it was a reaction to something else said in the thread, because he issued a warning. I tried to find out why via a PM, he has clearly been on since I sent the PM, yet I have received no response. So I sent a comment today asking if he got the PM, still no response. My comment was not obscene, derogatory, or vulgar in anyway and should not have received a warning.

So now I am taking it public. It could have been handled quietly in PMs, but I received no response. And I did copy in a couple of Admins I have dealt with, so it is documented that I did send the PM. I am asking either another Mod or an Adminto please remove the warning, or at least explain to me why I received a warning. And also please inform me if there is some kind of accountability for the Mods, because this is not first time I've seen Tenacious come up in the complaint forum. We should have a form we can fill out which goes directly to the Admins if the Mods are getting a little out of control.

And a hush takes over the crowd...

Come on, it took less time to jump on my comment and warn me.

That was my point, people were just bitching, they didn't have a legitimate point. I even meant it half jokingly because it was such a childish and prudish arguement being made. It wasn't spam and you know it.

Cracker do not worry about the warning. All things considered if you do not do anything else to give the reason you will be fine and the warning can be removed with good content. A better way would just to report the posts and let one of the mods or admins address it and you will not end up caught in the middle. I think this may be the situation. So do nto take it personal. But we have to have rules and I am glad my mods are following up on things I miss.

So Cracker do not worry you will be fine.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me directly.

Thank you for your continued support.

Spam:
Purposely spamming a message board with senseless, vacuous, or empty messages to gain more stars is highly frowned upon! This includes such things as party posts, chain letters, two-word "I agree" or "me too" responses, continually posting the same topic will more than likely result in LOSING post counts and/or bans. The practice of "Rick Rolling" will result in a consequence that is determined necessary. The posting of false and/or misleading links is grounds for suspension and depending on the content of the pages the misleading link goes to, a ban.

This is taken right out of the general rules for this forum. Be thankful he only gave you a warning, it could have been worse.

I knew that. When he sees my post he will know that the post that earned him his first warning was more than justified.

First off, I read everything (both complaints)

Mods don't always have to agree so here is my verdict.

"bitch, bitch, bitch" is spam

"bitch, bitch, bitch....you guys never resolve anything, you just whine" Isn't spam.

So fist off I would say that the warning stands. Its just a warning so chill. I get your point in the message, and PERSONALLY wouldn't have bothered unless you had a previous spamish warning.

NOW, I do agree that Tenacious (as much as I love him) was being a little.....how should I say.....strict on the rules. I don't think the comment required a warning.

I warn for spam for comments like
lol
me too
I agree
yeah
thats funny

etc. etc. etc.

Bitch, bitch, bitch is very very borderline. I would have kept my eye out, but wouldnt have warned.

Having said that, I think this "issue" has been handled. Everybody shake hands......don't get your panties in a bunch.....Come on, CUP is what, 3 weeks away.

Jaldrich,

FYI Cup is this weekend. But yes, it was border line but I will stand behind my mods if they are doing their job and I feel like Ten did do that. he has since receive a short suspension and this is a dead issue currently. I have been meaning to tell you also love the sig and the avatar. I honestly beleive we are starting to get some of the best mods going.

So to all my mods thanks for all your help. i could not do this without you all.

If you click on the underlined number (your % warn level), a warn log should come up, and there should be a reason given for the warning, as well as who the warning was issued by and when...

If your post was "bitch bitch bitch" Then you have a very loose grasp of vulgar.

seriously bro in all respect (because your a mod).
you have a problem you are very powerhungry, you gave me a warrniing because i had 6 lines in my signature thats just weird, it was 1 word per line i want to respect my sponsors by showing there name clearly no in a sentance with like other sponsors like it is now, some people HINT HINT dont know the feeling 2 of them are huge sponsors for my team if they saw it the way it is now they could/might be offended so i gave them there own sentance, and i get a warrning for it? + your on this site 24/7 look at your post count dont you have family/friends bro, not to be mean but common think abou it. If you want to give something attention. USE Colors and CAPS and BOLD. Maybe, call me crazy, even use underline or italics.

In any case, quit bitching about small mundane shit such as the signature size. Its not a big deal and honestly unless your sig is a picture, nobody is even reading it.

Seriously XPB? what is your problem. Everyone here is chill and reading about paintball stuff. You on the other hand, troll, flame, and spam your way to 20% warning in 2 months.

FYI Im not BOS. I got Perm banned for PBN.

And since your all up in my shit, Ill give you the details.

I posted a DIY thread on how to make your own Ion body. This is 6 months after the Ion came out (as in, no Ion aftermarket bodies yet). So my very FIRST post ever on PBN was a thread IN the SP section about how to make your own Ion body with a fence tube (same diameter) JB weld, some sand paper, and a dremel.

I had pictures and everything. The first 3 post in response to my thread were all flaming. Flaming me for being a moron, flaming Ions, and flaming new members for posting "this crap". I responded, pissed off. No cursing, no flaming but told them to get the hell out of my thread if they didn't like the Ions or my mod.

Instant-perm-ban.

No PM, no warning, no reasoning, nothing. Just instant Perm Ban.

So not that its any of your business, but yeah I don't like PBN. I don't like how its run, I don't like the flaming, I dont like the signatures, I dont like the mods (well most of them). I think PBN is ultra crap for the industry and is a poor poor poor example of how to run a forum.

Happy?

Why dont you just follow the rules, stop making an issue out of everything and enjoy the website? EMO much?

I think it's good to leave posts like this up. I like to see how things are handled and it informs other people what the rules are and how they are handled ( I doubt everyone reads the rules when they join).

headshots: I don't see why getting all pissy about a freakin signature is a big deal. Just fix your sig and be happy. Trust me the line needs to be drawn somewhere or else we are all going to have to get upgraded mice with super fast scroll wheels to get past all the crap on everyone's posts. I Guarantee even if you were running the forum you would draw the line somewhere.

Anyway I think the mods have been doing a good job so fare.

Jaldrich: That sucks so bad about the ban on pbnation! What a load of crap, do u think it was something personal??

Tenacious: U seem to be doing an awesome job to me, you don't take the bait with angry users which show maturity. I Always like your posts, and you seem to be very respectful of others even when they are asking for it.

XPB: How about treating the mods with a little more respect. You are rapidly losing mine.

No I don't think it has anything to do with something personal.

And as I think about it now, I wonder if one of the flamers (calling me, the Ion, and noobs dumbasses etc.) was a moderator.

And when I responded to a moderator flaming someone over their gun, or project in their own thread, he retialiated.

But I honestly don't think that would be the case, I would have noticed a moderator.

well stinger...

Its so hard to convey emotion through text. So drama happens alot easier on the net than anywhere else.

Drama, IMO, isn't that big of a deal on forums. As long as everyone cools off quickly and rolls with the punches. Which for the most part everyone does. =)
