Vlos don't eat batteries, and you can't even notice it running constantly. I replace mine about once a month, shooting 2-4 cases a month(4 days a month). It uses 9 volts so I just buy a $10 pack of 4 and replace my gun and hopper at the same time. If the constant running is really a problem then you can get a new chip for it.

Jrny's aren't out yet so you can't even buy one, much less compare it to two hoppers that have been out for several years.

Weight-wise,
Vlo~Jrny<Halo(Vlocity around the weight of the Jrny, which are both less than a Halo).

Since you're playing woodsball Vlocities are very loud. I have a Halo it is much quieter, just a tiny bit heavier, and much more efficient.
