I haven't heard that in years ;)

Great idea, and I like the look, but I don't know if I trust the "bump" open...

Props to them for coming up with the bump lid but I would stay away from it. I can see the lid getting bumped quite often and causing your paint to dump out or allow foreign objects into it rather easily.

a universal shell...is genius. and personally, i dont think sliding will have any effect on the bump lid unless you make a super hard hitting your gun

There will be multiple colors and patterns available. The bump lid on the prototype was pretty solid.

I love it. SPO has always been making nice shells. Could someone tell me a little more about their graphics they do. It's painted on correct? How durable is it? I also don't see anywhere on the spogear website to purchase these? I'd also like to see more on-gun pictures. Thanks!

Another Q aboot the bump lid-

What about a rapid vertical tilting of the gun? (ex. if you switch which side of the bunker you are shooting), would the movement of the balls hitting the lid open it??

I just don't get what keeps the lid latched in the first place. Some detailed pics of how it works would be sweet.

wow I never heard of those. I like them a lot though. And this was prob the best most informational video out of all the interviews. AND I watched all of them. lol. IT is nice to see older folks into paintball like him too. More product.

Kinda wish the price was a little lower tho. I mean I know they got their costs and R&D too but $60 is a little steep and about the cost of a new Reloader B. I'd say $45 is a good price to be at.

Wants Bob Long Vices black/blue and DM9s. UL 692 Dust Barrel, Dye Rotor, ZN'd Events, Myth GA Stubby 48/45.

Why not both :-) Always good to have a backup and if you already have a reloader or halo or vlocity might as well!

It is hydrographic dip coating. Very durable. I have some of the original stuff from years ago.

Tilting will have no impact on the lid. If you don't want the lid attached use the fingered lid. Being shot in the lid might open it. Ken has dropped them on the ground and the lid didn't open. Either way you are out of the game. I don't really understand where you are going with this. If any hopper gets hit in the lid you are probably going to have to clean it. If a speed feed/crown feed system gets shot in a similar way you are going to have to clean, not to mention getting shot through the feed into the hopper itself which sounds like a real bitch.

Here are some pics of my older stuff

Signs of Addiction to Paintball:
  • You walk anything you can get your fingers on
  • Its the only thing you can talk about
  • You spend more money on paintball than your girlfriend
  • You dont own a car but have an $1000+ marker
Public notice:
If you see a spyder, squish it.
