I agree the Pinokio sounds great but how can u say that there are problems with the rotor. I love mine and I have no problems with it, I dont understand how some of you get off saying that there are going to be problems and that its like an ion. We are talking about Dye, they always make great quality products how can u doubt them.

Haha i agree with you, well about the Dye thing. I love there guns, and doubt i will ever shoot anything else unless im forced too.... I want to play a few games with the rotor and see if i like it or not. My halo with suicide shell keeps coming apart during the game lol. Ill dive into the snake and the parts will come apart a little lol. I need a new hopper stat. Pinokios run great and are sturdy, but it ont fit in my feedneck... So if the rotor does and performs good i might have to pick one up. Although idk if my team can use rotors....

rotor is better than the pinokio by far.

the rotor gets better battery efficiency.

the rotor require no tools idc if the pinokio needs one (yes i no i spelled it wrong probably)

rotor is sexy and the pinokio is just plain ugly

I am pretty sure the pinokio gets better battery efficiency...

Pinokio - 37 cases on 2 nine volts

Rotor - 25 Cases on 3 double a's
There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down. You got your talkers and you got your doers. Most people are just talkers, all they do is talk. But when it is all said and done, it's the doers that change this world. And when they do that, they change us, and that's why we never forget them. So which one are you? Do you just talk about it, or do you stand up and do something about it?

Oops, your right, but still 9 volts are a buck each for Name Brand.

Double a's are .80 each. You still better off with the pinokio battery wise.

I am not going to lie and say I think one is better then the other. I have NEVER used either, but I have a pinokio on the way in the mail. I hope to get a rotor, or at least borrow one for a month, and decide which one really is better.

The pinokio is the best loader i've ever used. So easy to clean, extremely easy on batteries, holds 240 rounds without the nose cone etc etc.

Rotor is great too, but you cant run water through it ;)

You can run water thru a pinokio!? I never knew that......... got a video or something?

A.Tech, I agree totally. I for one will always be convinced with facts that don't sound so biased. I'm very convinced of the hoppers quality, but I don't think it means that no other hopper out there will ever be better or have just certain aspects of it be better. Like hands down the pinokio is an ugly hopper and is on the larger size. The whole point of having options though it what pros outweigh the cons. Just because a certain aspect isn't important to you doesn't mean you have the right to bark someone down because it's important to them. Like even as I write this I fear the wrath of the pinokio gang :-) It's good to constantly re evaluate things and be open to the idea that other companies might be able to make good products too.

Agreed,
I really wonder what would happen if Mike P. didn't like the Pinokio........

Hm................

But for all you guys out there, who like the Pinokio better than the Rotor.
Thats great, no complains, both exceptionally good player. But famousfornow, Your comments are getting a lil offensive....
I seriously think we need to give more credit to Dye. I like the rotor, I'm waiitng to see the Prophecy comes out because
I have the money to buy another hopper, but thisis Pinokios first loader too. So correct me if I'm wrong,
but no hoppers perfect as you can see. The dye rotor sure you can't pour water thru it, but thats why theres a lid too. Mike
put a lid on his hopper.. why? During WC, TO NOT LET WATER THRU IT!

Idk how im being offensive... If you read all of my comments i say the dye rotor could be a good hopper, and that i do want to try it bc i might buy one. But i was just sharing with ppl something i witnessed. To kind of ease the Rotor craze, I guess I accidently started a pinokio one at the same time..... So dont target me since im the thread starter, im not held accountable for what other ppl say. Ive said time and time again Ive been fascinated with the rotor....... ;)

I think when they talk about the pinokio being able to let water run through it, it's basically a feature for being able to clean it and to prove it's durability. I don't think anyone wants water in the hopper when there is fresh paint in there to be shot, more just to clean it.

---------------------

Famousefornow: I must say I'm starting to see how this can all get a little aggravating. When you see a product you love and someone post comments that are untrue or just half true about the product it really gets frustrating because it's almost like slander. These rotor vs pinokio threads just keep coming up and each time you have to re-explain the pros and cons to everyone.

--------------

I just ask everyone keep to the unbiased facts or make it clear that you are expressing an opinion. I almost feel like I'm being preached to by some people regarding some products and if I don't agree it's blasphemy or something(not directing at anyone in particular, please dont get defensive)!

I still think both hoppers are sick and I will probably end up having both of them. Dye definitely deserves a round of applause just because of the innovative features and the rotor deserves a round of applause for taking the best features of current technology and keeping it durable. I'm sure we will be seeing more hoppers out there that will be using aspects of each of them. I'm excited to see where it will all go!

Well, not all of FamousForNow's comments are correct....... read this

"When you say you dont care if the pinokio can run with water through it mean you have never played paintball in the rain.... And you obviously havent used a rotor bc you would know the "no popcorning" feature your talking about holds true with the pinokio aswell. ANd since i know you have never played with one i cant really explain the profile to you.... Youll probably just say its huge and will assume it sticks out, continuing to talk and give opinions you have no idea about..... "

Famous for now, page one.

Famous for Now, You don't have your lid open or if you choose to have a speedfeed man, your acting like you can put water thru it during a game, first off that will screw up your balls, get it all wet and make the balls stick to the shell. Mike put a lid on his pinokio during cup to not letter water thru, I mean if like your paintballs all wet and stuff, be my guest. And so thats the pinokios cleaning feature, the Rotors is being able to dissassemble the ENTIRE Thing in 15 secounds, and clean all of it!!!! ALL OF IT, not just where the paint path is to the breach of the gun. DUH, and assuming someone hasn't played in the rain, thats not cool bud. Just because they don't like the rotor, doesn't mean they havn't played in the rain thank you. I do agre, there is no popcorning I know that. I hvae played with one, I don't hate it, but I'm not in love with it. So its about personal preference and stop trying to shove information down poeples throats unless they state a fact, if they seem to like it, LET IT BE. Your not shooting water, your hopefuly shooting well stored paintballs, that are being flod with water in teh feed neck, so I rest my case.

idk wat the crap u guys are talking about, i've played through snow and rain and sleet with my halo, performs amazing. I own a pinokio, performs amazing in rain, haven't tried it in any other weather. by far, the halo is the best looking in my opinion and the rotor looks like a kidz toy from power rangers.

MY OPINION- someone tell empire to make a new line of magna that looks like a suicide halo or warrior halo with toolless disasembly and a membrain pad instead of eyes. basically a pinokio with the clutch system inside a halo...i wouldn't mind paying 250 for it since i paid 150 on a pinokio.

the prophecy is on the way lol. i believe it comes out on december 6th if i remember correctly, and i would really like to see how it stacks up against other loaders. i think mike or somebody should do a review with all the new line of hoppers that have come out, like the prophecy, pinokio, and the rotor, and let his overall review decide. I think this would be a good way to settle some of these disputes.

People say rotors are easy to clean, but with pinokios, you barely need to clean it, because for a fast clean, you can just run water through the whole thing. From what i've heard, rotors are makin paint soup

I personally own both hoppers, the rotor is better imo
theyre both easy to clean but whoever said they can just run water through their pinokio and it will be clean is full of shit, you still have to take parts off and clean the bitch
both will keep up with whatever your shooting
rotor is better looking
rotor has a smaller profile, but the difference is so tiny its w/e
I threw both hoppers at the floor, the pinokio cracked the rotor didnt (i picked up a new one cuz i still like it)
(and just to end the myth) The Pinokio actually costs more on their site the MSRP is 160 while the rotor's is 150

Verdict: If you want the better looking more durable slightly faster and smaller hopper buy the rotor, if you want a butt ugly hopper buy the pinokio. Either way both are reliable and they both get the job done

The pinokio is the best loader i've ever used. So easy to clean, extremely easy on batteries, holds 240 rounds without the nose cone etc etc.

Rotor is great too, but you cant run water through it ;)

look up rotor durability on youtube, the sucker runs under water. the vids got billy wing on it.

if the loader doesn't have rip drive i will not use it. i do not care if it has anti jam, etc etc ... some balls do get jammed and my rip drive saved me many of times or kept me in the game longer and not being useless.

are you are pinokio accept speed feeds, if they dont that could be the end of it right there....but I do not know, but from the looks of it pinokio rides way to high for me to even think about..

swift

If your asking if the pinokio can accept speed feeds lol, the answer is yes. And you dont have to glue them on like you have to with the rotor.

I would rather get a rotor. The pinokio is uglier than hte rotor. and not as easy to take apart. I don't know why, which company would you trust NOT SPECIFIC! Dye or Pinoko? I rest my case, but yes funny story Posted Image

I forgot, the way something looks means its better!!!!!!! GOSH WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!!!!! And i dont know why everyone is so hyped up about taking the loaders apart!!!! With the pinokio no paint is going to break so you dont have to take it apart..... HMMMMM Just some food for thought... And if you got some dirt in there you can just use a can of compressed air to clean it out.. The front comes off so thats easy to clean... Wise up son!

i don't care if the pinokio can run in water. i don't drop my gun anyway. the reason why i'm in love with the rotor is because there is little to no popcorning and it is extremely low profile. i get hopper shots alot because my halo is so high profile so i really would like the rotor. plus the fact that it is probably the easiest hopper out there to disassemble.

When you say you dont care if the pinokio can run with water through it mean you have never played paintball in the rain.... And you obviously havent used a pinokio bc you would know the "no popcorning" feature your talking about holds true with the pinokio aswell.
