I've got air, and I've got paint to waste. Video comparing the bolts will be up for sure tomorrow.

Very first thing I'd do is pull out the bolt, clean it and re-lube it with a good thin lube. Then, air it up and give it a try.

Andrew, how noticeable is the difference in bolts when you're shooting the gun, because other then a slight change in sound signature I couldn't really tell much of a difference in the video?

I believe there is a noticeable difference. The problem with video, is the camera has an auto-leveling microphone, so they sound similar, but in reality the TechT bolt is definitely a bit quieter. It loses that characteristic dump valve feel, and the signature softens a bit. Shooting one right after the other, the TechT at 300 feels like a stock bolt that's shooting low, like you need to turn it up, even though it's already at 300.

That's what I thought. I can never tell the difference in sound in shooting comparison videos, I think I remember one where the G6r sounded the same as a Luxe, a Demon, and a Geo2. The revi is getting on to the list of guns I want to own alongside the karni, a mag, and the quest. Also how is the Revi's trigger, because that is probably the biggest complaint I've heard about the Revi.

Unfortunately I can't help you out there. The prototype uses a G3 style trigger, not the switchblade. I do my own magnet mods to all my triggers anyway, so as it is right now it's crisp and responsive, yet soft and quick.

Isn't there a second prototype out there somewhere? Mind hooking me up. :dodgy:

Doesn't really matter, I think the Karni is higher on the list of guns I want to own, and I still have to take your old shocker out for a spin.

Lol, glad it got to you in one piece. Once the Hybrid SFT gets here, and I put an eigenbolt in it, my REV-i may be facing some very stiff competition for my favorite spot.

I'm probably going to replace that reg with an azodin so the macroline isn't pushed off to the side. Otherwise, I'll get a new board, put my cam drive on there and it'll be a great little shooter. Maybe get an Eigenbolt if they actually get released.

Yeah, and then you won't have to take off the grip frame to unscrew the reg either. It's a good reg, just annoying on the gun. The Eigenbolts are actually en route to Lurker from anno, so as soon as he gets them, they'll go up for sale.

thanks for posting that vid! there is a definite sound change (despite the auto-leveling you previously mentioned) In the vid it sounds similar but the L7 sounds more muffled over the stock.

The three markers I'd be happy with would be an E2 Karni, a Rev-i, and a warp left ULE X- Valved mag with a 90 degree frame with a carbon fiber trigger, a body mod where the back half is replaced with a carbon fiber tube, a carbon fiber front grip, a carbon fiber barrel, and a cool looking ASA. The aluminum would be annoed pink, while the carbon fiber and X-Valve would be left black.

Sadly the time has come, I must part ways with my Rev-I :(
Winter has arrived and my wedding quickly approaches, I can't pass up the opportunity to double my money with this thing, I absolutely love these guns but its time to cash in on my gear, maybe I'll find a cheap one next spring.

No leaks out of the box, i left it aired up overnight and air in my tank didnt budge.
It wont blow o rings in the ASA coz the vent holes are in the bottom not above the ASA where it might be blocked.
And no bolt stick out of the box,
I think they revised the composition of the DP lube this time around, but i wont take a chance on it.

From what I've seen, the only functional difference between a G5 and G4 bolts are the stem length and holes.

Its a bit more consistent than a G4, was getting +/- 10 out of the box on this G5, while my G4 was that consistent after 2 relubes and 4 cases thru it...maybe coz they patterned the G5 reg from the g3/spec r regs?

Havent seen the field this weekend so i cant comment on the efficiency, TK, maybe this coming weekend.

They shoot a bit more like poppets, actually. The dump valve is not a true spool valve. The TechT Bolt Engine goes a long way to making it more of a spoolie, but in factory form it feels and sounds closer to a poppet.
