Nope, I only know the Nano cost $600 according to the GI Milsim employee's at World Cup. I never had a price on anything else and they didn't have a price sheet(I asked for one).

I would estimate the Micro is less than $150.

Prices where supposed to be released yesterday with the pictures, according to the employee's, so I'm not sure what the hold up is.

Maybe next week?

Cool beans, I wish I could play with one and try it

Oh, and that turbine looks like a rip off of the Rotor and the Micro looks like a vibe

Edit: If theres a conversion kit or something for the impulse, then you should get it.... and let me shoot it

The top breech is removable and replaceable on the impulse, so yes, there is a conversion kit.
Yes, GI Milsim is SP therefore the micro does look like a vibe.
The rotor comment. I haven't seen how the turbine operates so I can't comment on that.

The more pictures I see of the Nano, the more I like the looks of it.
Kind of sexy...

The FM50 looks like a lot of fun too.

With regards to the loaders, how are people supposed to save money when they're promoting/suggesting we shoot more than twice the amount of paintballs? If they really wanted to help people save on paint costs, shouldn't they offer smaller loaders? I know a lot of people shoot more than 500 paintballs per game but the majority of players I know do not. Shooting twice the number of .50 caliber paintballs is going to be a lot MORE expensive.

In the end people will shoot what they want. I can make a hopper last 2 speedball games, or I can make a hopper last 20 seconds. I can make 1000 rounds last a day or I can go threw 2 cases. It's all up to the end user. Just because you are able to carry that much paint doesn't mean you are going to adjust your playing style to shoot more paint.

i'm actually loving the looks of the new SP .50 cal gear.

is that an AA barrel on the Micro? (which i might have to invest in a little later on... B) )
the micro (for a lower end marker) looks very nice. i'll have to wait and see one in person though

Lol, I don't even know what to say about that FM50...

I do like the looks of the SP1, I mean the GI50 lol. Funny thing is that this paint will be worthless in the woods, so the whole Milsim thing makes me giggle.

I'm pretty sure i saw someone speaking of the Pinokio as only jamming twice with 50cal paint. Thats atleast 400 rounds and they may have even had the nose cone on it.

Yeah, I talked to the creator of pinokio (forgot his name) at world cup and he said they loaded it up and did a drop test and it only jammed twice. Now remember, that's with NO conversion kit, just stock.

what does the 5.1 joule rating mean under the FM50 mean? the barrel's bore shine/smoothness?

That's the amount of energy the ball has as it leaves the breach, a standard .68 has around 15 joules

GI Milsim. Is it a totally brand new company. Is it another name for Smart Parts or is it a consortium of paintball compaines in one?

The reason why I ask is because the markers look like the alternate universe versions of present day markers. I think the new "slap-ons" look cool but could we not see like new looking markers. Is that too hard to ask for?

Man... I would just buy a conversion kit, if I was headed down that part and/or if available. Nuff props to SP but at least give me something brand spanking new to look at/hold.

So basically, my perception on this, is that since Smart Parts vent on a major letdown financially this year, they need money and now they think its the time to switch over to .50cal (which isnt desperately needed IMO), so that Smart Parts can pay back their debt, lol. Thats the major reason I see in this, really.

Pretty sure the reason why SP took out the loan in the first place (23mill) was to start GI milsim... Bank said they wanted their loan back now, so eventhough SP paid on time they had to pay all the money back now, that's why they are in a hole.

So SP took out a loan to start GI Milsim? This is new for me. But anyway, I think my point is still valid though, seems like they just want the cash, I really cant see the desperate need to change caliber.

they get all the profits from 50 cal paint
so say the poeple who buy conversion kits start to use 50 cal no matter what anyone using 50 cal will have to buy paint from smart parts because there is no other 50 cal paint manufacture . Get it?

But anyway, I think my point is still valid though, seems like they just want the cash, I really cant see the desperate need to change caliber.

think to yourself "what is the only company right now that is making 50 cal paint?"
everyone goes to smart parts/gi milsim and bingo smart parts just watches as the money flows in

Well, GI Milsim?

And your point being, mate?

they get all the profits from 50 cal paint
so say the poeple who buy conversion kits start to use 50 cal no matter what anyone using 50 cal will have to buy paint from smart parts because there is no other 50 cal paint manufacture . Get it?

>Implying that GI MILSIM will be the only paint manufacture. As if it was patented.

Ya, I love peoples arguments against .50 caliber. Conspiracy theories about smart parts and everything.

Thank you, love you too!

Conspiracy or not, just trying to make a point, was it a desperate need to change over to .50cal?

By turning paintballs into .50cal? In my opinion, its not about the paintball technology etc, its more about what the general public thinks about paintball.

Less pain, less cost.

I say boycott and kill smart parts. What will they do if they can't pay back the loan? Then the little guy can make a comeback. It would make for better quality I think.

They already paid off the loan which is why you wont see them at any 09 events.
