I should have had this whole thing up and running already, but work and life gets in the way. At the very least, I'm on top of it now, and the web page is being put together. I'm editing the audio, and just putting together the technical side of things. Nothing is really complete, but it's moving along smoothly now. Soon I'll start harassing the staff for some more help. :P You know, since Willie offered to help with page building.

Anyway, I've put together the short intro tune that's tacked onto the front end of every interview, and I've mixed it down. I'd like you guys to give a listen, and post some feedback. It's a small, relatively low-quality audio file. That really means it's a tiny download.

I love it, I almost spit my pop out all over the screen at "Cover your nipples".

At least I think that's what I heard...

Well, "nipple". It's referring to the fill nipple. ;)

Of course, I would never think otherwise.

Oh. Curious, what did you listen to it on? Speakers or headphones? I don't get that effect with headphones.

Alright. The Delay effect works well on headphones, and I panned it to work well that way. Since it's for a podcast, it's intended for either car speakers or mp3 players. You'll probably find more separation there. I also don't want the vocals to be too distinct from the music, as it's more of an atmosphere/soundscape type effect.

Was that asmodia255 doing the voice there? Whoever it was, it sounded pretty damn good. I also liked that whole "We are not a website to fuck with" part. Isn't that from the PBBW video?

Yes, it was from the PBBW video. I was watching it, and it seemed a good choice. Also, that was me doing the rest of the talking, so thank you.

Well. I have to re-interview D.K. He said some things he shouldn't have. :P Good thing he caught me before I published it.:D

Kidding, it was me. I shit myself half way through the interview, so I'd rather do a clean take.

Otherwise, I like it.

Every joke in paintball is corny. "Balls", "Shake-N-Bake", not to mention adding "y" to the end of everything.

Corn is an integral part of paint. B)

On a side note, it's my style to have the last few phrases change. That version is with the gauge/tank/nipple. The other ones I'd do are sometimes paintball related or not. I was going to use "Chop that lettuce, slice the tomatoes, and please, leave the dressing on the side..."

Stuff like that. I'll try to keep it paintball related, but sometimes I just like talking about food. I had a great one for chili...

Love it!
There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down. You got your talkers and you got your doers. Most people are just talkers, all they do is talk. But when it is all said and done, it's the doers that change this world. And when they do that, they change us, and that's why we never forget them. So which one are you? Do you just talk about it, or do you stand up and do something about it?
