Hey guys, if you were to get a spyder Vs3 for free, and had a choice of free upgrades, what would you put on it? Name the parts, Brand, price of the upgrade. I'm thinking a new feedneck since it has somekind of Azodin Kaos clamping feedneck. A new ASA maybe. Virtue Board+eyes, new bolt?, Barrel.

Question, does the VS3 have a reg? Or is it just a airthru Grip?

And frames that will replace the non-legal torney trigger?

Board. Up the board to a virtue or something and get some real modes and it's not that bad of a gun.

Then get one of the VS1/VS2 trigger frames.

And yes it has a regulator.

A new clamping feedneck would be nice as well, the screw one is decent, but kinda tall

After a VS1/2 Frame, I'd get a CP trigger

Also a new reg adapter and a quality reg of your choice

A new ASA to replace the stock ASA/Reg combo (unless it's like the RS and RSX which has a normal on/off ASA and reg)

Bob Long Pillow Bolt (they fit, apparently Bob based the old Timmy of the Spyder platform, thus the creation of the Spimmy)

Tadao Board and Musashi 7 chip (cheaper than Virtue)

Nice Barrel Kit would be good help when sizing your bore

The RS series has an on/off ASA as does the VS2 and VS3

Indeed they do, but I know for a fact that the ASA on the VS2 is both an On/Off ASA AND the Reg

Not sure if it's the same way for the VS3

itis but you can take the asa off and run it without a reg at all ive seen it done never tried it myself
If ur under 18 and buy all ur gear add this to ur sig
it seems that EVERY gun these days shoots ropes, money, lasers, etc....put this in your sig if yours still shoots the other team

First, any Ion threaded Clamper. I prefer the Q-locks or Trinity T-locks, but brand doesn't matter that much.

VS2 Gripframe.

Tadao board with the upgrade chip.

Keep the reg on/off combo. You can replace it if you want, but its a HUGE hassle. You would need a new: reg, reg adaptor, macro line and fittings, metric adapter or new ASA (or you could keep the stock ASA and go dual regulated).

A color kit?

From there on the cost to benefit ratio is meh, not so great.

It is the same way on the VS3, but on Youtube there is a mod you can do to take out the reg function from the ASA
