I wonder if I should repost this video under a different title so more people will pay attention to it? What do you guys think?

Is anyone interested in seeing some slowed down videos of the impact shots? I have been playing with my editing software and its kind of cool to watch.

In Topic: Dark Geo 2

I'm not sure why a lot of people are bashing the Dark Geo2. You're right that they don't have any custom milling or anything extra. But you are paying the same price as a stock Geo2 but you have a few new color options. I have seen all four of the Dark Geo 2s up close and they all look fantastic. My personal favorite is the "Pumpkin" Black and orange. The anno job and finish on these markers is beautiful. The orange is gorgeous when it hits the sunlight. It truly is one of the sexiest color schemes out there this year. The white is as close as you can get with white when you annodize. i would be proud to add anyone of these markers to my collection.

KEE's strong points are gathering companies and distributing their products. I don't know if they would be good at producing products. This past Spring, KEE closed down their Chicago area distribution center to cut costs. I don't think they would be trying to purchase another company at this time.

That's my opinion. II like to play paintball. I don't study market trends so what do I know?

My favorite local field has an Old West town. Multi-level buildings, a church, a stable and surrounded by woods, very fun.

In Topic: Does an Apex tip Make You Blow More Paint?

18 July 2010 - 09:07 PM

I've been playing with the Apex tip on my Freak barrel for the past two seasons. It is great for shooting while in the woods but it does take awhile getting used to. It will hang low to the ground and then rise up so its great for shooting under the trees. I noticed that I do have to shoot a little more than usual because the balls will drift left and right. You get better distance but your accuracy will suffer slightly.

There is a method to using an APEX which works for me. I love using the Apex as a suppressive system to make the other team take cover more quickly than usual. This allows me to keep their heads down and get in close quickly so that I can turn off the APEX and pick them off at normal ranges.

Bottomline: is the APEX best for sniping? NO. But it is an outstanding tool for keeping your opponents down and for them to waste their paint as they try to shoot at you with their regular barrels.
