In Topic: pistol play with contour HD perma mount

i would like to try double pistol. but that would require a second tank and remote setup as 12 grams are very expensive in nebraska so i run remote, and money was a large factor, i kind of prefer a single pistol but if i had a chance to try double's i would.

Why would you need a second tank?

A guy on the Dutch PB-forum who recently sold his double TPX-setup was using only one tank and two remote lines:

So it looks to me from that example on the bottom left image that one tank would suffice with your two markers both on a remote line.

yeah we had a problem with the editing software so we can't edit any video's at the moment :( so we have to go raw

i will be doing a video of how i mounted it i am going to try to get it done tonight.

That's a bummer.
I look forward to the mounting video!

That was fun to watch (although personally I prefer edited clips over raw footage).

Will you also put a video up with how you mounted your Contour-HD to your mask?

Funny you should bring this up. Wilko (Walthanas on youtube) just did a very comprehensive video review of what to look for in a paintball radio.

if only he talked, that waay i wouldnt have to read it...

Just saw this thread...

The first issue with me talking in my review or tech tips videos is that I tend to have a pretty strong Dutch accent and that I tend to talk pretty fast.
Much of what I explain in that clip is detailed and in text it's easier to search on exactly what I explain than trying to figure out what I'm mumbling about.
Also, I believe that in videos like this it is easier to simply pause the part that is relevant, read it and scroll through the rest of the clip that you don't find as interesting.

I play with a group of friends of which the average age is around 40, with a few exceptions going up to 45 and down to 30.
Don't worry about your age. Instead, simply concentrate on having fun.

Wow, that's a pretty nice set up there AGD, all kinds of tables and stuff, they need to come back, haha

They never went away.

You can still buy a brand new automag directly from AGD.
(I know, I did, and so did several of my friends.)

You may not see many of them around, but that doesn't mean that they're not being produced any more.
They are very reliable, very sturdy and require very little maintenance.
