So, I just converted my Phantom from a bottom line/vertical air setup to a backbottle, and I love it. It's literally everything I've ever wanted to do with a phantom. It feels great, and I'm shooting much more accurately than with the old ASA setup. The only problem is the pressure gauge on my 13ci gets right in the way of the 10 round feed tube when the tank is threaded in all the way, so I have to back it off about a quarter of a turn to make things fit. It's not a major problem, and everything still works fine, but I'd really like to be able to thread it in all the way.
I'm thinking about replacing the reg on my tank with a myth g3, for the rotational threads, but they only seem to come in 4500 psi. Would I be alright putting it on my 3000 psi tank and replacing the burst disks? Or is there a better way to get that pressure gauge out of the way?
Here's the setup I'm talking about:
