Need a gear bag

16 November 2013 - 06:25 PM

I'm currently rocking a small laundry basket and a medium duffel bag to haul my gear around.  I'm looking for just 1 all-in-one bag that can hold everything.  Any suggestions?

2013 Reflex Rail has the smallest leak ever..

16 July 2013 - 09:42 PM

So I just picked up a 13 reflex rail essentially new (it was a cosmetic 2nd from the factory) and it's my first spoolie.  I wasn't sure if i was hearing things or if I heard a small leak so I gassed it up and let it sit for awhile (3 hours).  In that time it lost roughly 250 psi which really isn't that much for a leak, but I'm wondering if anyone might know where this would be coming from.

My guess would be the inner o rings that seal everything up when the gun is in the ready to fire position, so I would think maybe add a touch more lube.  But I usually over lube so I've made a point to just barely lube the bolt (make it look wet).  What sort of problems would be the cause of too much lube?

Are these the same thing?

Up for sale or ideally trade is my Etek4 LT.  It comes with all the usual goodies.  The only upgrades are a cure 4 bolt (stock cure bolt also included) and the feed neck thumbscrew.  A .681 shaft 4 barrel back is included with the stock 2 piece barrel.  Everything is in great mechanical and cosmetic condition.  The only exception to this is 2nd largest allen key has the ball socket sheared off (the red loctited gauge plug on my autococker is to blame for that one).  Pay no attention to the weird dandruff looking specs in some of the close pictures (barrel tip/bolt).  Those weird particles were not visible when I was taking the pictures, and they definitely aren't nicks/scratches.

I'm mostly interested in trades!

Smoothest spoolie

03 May 2013 - 01:58 PM

I struck a deal with my mom that she would buy me a paintball gun if I got a 4.0 this semester. I currently have an etek 4 and don't plan on selling it because I'd rather have a solid backup over what I could get for it. I was thinking of getting a LV1. I really like the grips on it, the alleged smoothness, and the easy maintenance associated with PE guns. Since I will have the etek as a backup I was thinking I could maybe go for a potentially less reliable spoolie that offered a smooth shot. And by less reliable I mean more prone to user error not from defects/poor design. I was thinking of a Clone GT or Luxe 2.0 but I have my reservations. Both of them have been out for awhile and I don't want to buy it and then a new version comes out this summer (I am aware of the GTi for the Clone). This is part of the reason why I was looking at the LV1 as well. DMs look too tall/big and I don't want to support Dye's minuscule improvements.

Opinions?
