I've been moderately interested in the Crome and was wondering what the difference between the crome and crome2 are...
is it just cosmetics? If so, what are the different parts?
The rocket in the bolt assembly has a different milling on the second version, and after letting others stand in front and listening on a crome and crome2 with same dwell, barrel paint, fps they think the crome2 is more silent, not scientific in anyway just what others noticed.
No differences in the boards, and crome 2 manual is better.
Airusage is the same not great, i maybe get 6dyepods and a rotor if i go slowly in the end on a 68/4500.
I checked output of the tank a couple of times using a ninja lp output and a 2liter on my crome2 i still got 250fps when there was 200psi left in tank! shooting slow semi and let it recharge between shots you can drain the tank completely!
Im not a fan of the cp inline reg i think they show shootdown to soon, when the cp starts to show shootdown i can change to my 2liter and shooting 500psi more of the tank before i see shootdown in ramping.
If its cold the cp will give up and not letting air through, did see it happen to a few cromes this winter, but mine with a 2liter(oil for lube in the 2liter) had no problems in minus 18 degrees celsius after 40min out in cold, no bolt stick or funnystuff.
oh and we are mostly woodsballplayers has never let me down so far in rain, snow or heat bought it in the beginning of june last year.
