In Topic: Reffing Jobs

Im close to being 15 yrs old alreadyPosted Image and i really want a job so i can get my freaking equipment already.
IM looking for a Job as a Ref/or to work inside the shop around my area and i would like to know how some of you that work as refs/shop workers
in the forums got your job.

Did you have to give any refrences ? no
Pass a Certain Test? no
A Background Check? no
How much do you Get Paid? minimum wage which here is 7.25
Your Work Hours? bought 10-12 hours everyday and on average 35-40 hours every two weeks.
Any Experience? besides playing paintball no

I'd really appreciate your HelpPosted Image

What people seem to assume is that becoming a ref is all that will be required to do, easy job watching the sport you like right? That may be the case for top of the league sports but it's not the case in paintball. I'd say 'ref' is actually a misleading job title because in my experience most of your time spent is not reffing at all. You'll spend a lot of time cleaning guns, masks, overalls (if you have rentals), litter cleaning, bog cleaning. It's hard work at a paintball site so you better be prepared to put in a lot of labour.

this

and what you want to realize is you wont be able to play as much as you want, alot of people will treat like shit, and most of your day will consist of put your barrell sock and mask on expeciely with begginners. but the way i look at it id rather be outside getting payed yo go something i enjoy than flipping burgers at mccdonalds. and this is just my 2 cents as a ref for over a year

and also you wont start off in the shop that will take lots of time and trust since im just starting to do it after a year
