Bonusballing jerk

After reading feedback from YouTube comments and posts here I decided it was a good decision to delete it. I came off as a drama queen.

Bottomline: bunkering happens and someone making a video about a bad experience means squat.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I don't make videos often and I'm not doing it for tons of views or YouTube money, but I want to make videos that people will enjoy.

Tachyon Ops HD GunCam mount footage

28 March 2012 - 09:53 AM

I'm posting this to show how the Tachyon Ops HD performs. There aren't many videos taken with this, at least from what I can find. This camera with some extras was around $200. My only gripe is that it's not 1080, but the footage looks better than my iPod Nano's.

Tachyon Ops HD for VForce Profiler

18 February 2012 - 04:49 PM

For any Tachyon Ops HD users, I hope you can help me solve this. I want to be sure this works before I buy it.

Looking into getting a Tachyon Ops HD because it has a metal shroud (with picatinny rail mount) to protect the camera. I want to mount it on my VForce Profiler like in the above link I posted.

The problem is I don't know where to find those exact X7 rails. I've searched and find only longer ones. But would that work with the Tachyon Ops HD metal shroud?

I see that the Tachyon Ops HD Gun Cam bundle comes with a rail. Do I have to drill holes in my mask to keep the rail in place? Could I use zip ties instead (like in the xtionpaintball thread)? Would that interfere with the camera mount?

Maintenance for WGP Trilogy Sport

07 November 2011 - 12:26 AM

I'm thinking of picking up a WGP Trilogy Sport and want to know what kinds of things I'll need to maintain it. I know I need lube, that's a given, but should I get more hose for the pneumatics? I see the hose on the front and I'm wondering it that takes a hit will my gun start to leak? I want to have the right replacement parts at the ready because anything can happen to a gun before I step on the field.

Also what stuff do you recommend upgrading right away? I know I'll get a feedneck adapter and small bore barrel. Is there a better bolt for the Trilogy?

This wouldn't be my first gun. I know the paintball commandment "play and learn what upgrades you need" but I want to buy everything I would need right away and I trust TechPB to point my in the right direction to what's a good deal and what's garbage.
