I like some tattoos but it shouldn't matter if people are excited to show it off. What happens when you buy a new car or a new paintball gun? You show it off to feel better about your purchase. Don't tell me you don't do that as well?

In Topic: fucking paintball players take FOREVER to turn a game around

Since Mike started this thread I understand many people have replied to it and not so many individuals will probably read this. However, as a previous college player for one of the top D3 teams in paintball my experience was just the opposite. For every practice we are trained to be ready for as many games as possible. Every player fills 9-12 pods to have them ready at all times. You make sure everything and every teammate is ready to go even if you have to spare a pod. Turnaround time after one of our games is under a minute. READY... 5. . . . GO GO GO GO. We play another game as quick as possible and run off the field. Everytime, someone fills in your spot and another game starts in less than a minute. You fill your tank, fill empty pods (AFTER YOU CLEAN THEM UP PLAYERS!), and encourage every player you can to play with or against them in the next game. I understand there are a lot of sandbaggers and kids who just enjoy a few games of paintball at their local field. From my personal experience when I was younger, it was more fun to watch the better players and live in the moment because not many players encouraged me to play. Also, I feel like a lot of kids are scared to play against the better players. I feel that it's everyone's fault if a turnaround for a game is over 5 minutes. You should have an adequate amount of players at most fields so turnaround games are short but if you are at a field where not too many players reside, ENCOURAGE them to play! You only get better with practice and real-time experience on the field. It's everyone's responsibility to encourage each and every player to get better and if you can't put forth the effort, the result will be similar to Mike's rant. It's sad to see this happening at a lot of fields but we need to step up and encourage the rules, the play, and the fun of paintball to every player.
