In Topic: Tippmann a5 oil/lube?

Is hater sauce good or hoppes 9?

I could be wrong, but I think Hoppe's is petroleum based which would degrade the o-rings.

ya hoppes can be bad for your orings, but the tippmann manual recommends you to use hoppes for tippmanns. but to answer the main question, the type of lube is basically preference. if you have some friends willing to share some lube with you then try some different types of lube out. everyone has different needs in the type of lube they use. i use gold cup gun oil. it works fine for me.

not only does it raise the ROF but it also lowers the PSI the gun shoots at which means less fill ups. the new ratchet itself reduces the PSI to around 200. but if your really going to upgrade the cyclone i suggest you to get the Tech T cyclone feeder products. those tend to be more expensive but they work better than most brands.

In Topic: e-grip vs. response trigger??

22 October 2008 - 09:18 PM

i have a tippmann custom pro and i've had it for some time know. and i got the q-loader system for it and it words good and everything.

am wanting to upgrade my balls per second (BPS).
and i can get the e-grip for $99.00 or the response trigger for 69.00.

and i want to know what should i get...... the e-grip or the response trigger
am thinking of getting the e-grip cause to be it looks easier but i don't know.

so tell me what i should get. e-grip or response trigger

please and thank you

Sensitive trigger
More shooting styles (semi, burst, full auto, response, and turbo)
some people say they cant walk the trigger but i can
higher ROF

Harder to walk than usual paintball guns
Not weather resistant. (unless if you have the A.P.E. Board)
Hard to change modes in a game
Hard to change batteries in game
PRICE 100 bucks
Hard to get some of the push pins back in

Weather Proof
No need to change batteries
Sweet Spot (you can actually go full auto if you find the sweet spot)
Price is lower than the E-Grip

Harder to install
Heavier Trigger Pull
you have to play around with a screw to set the ROF. (id rather just set it to a certain ROF than experimenting
not going to shoot as fast as the E-Grip

Well heres one question. How fast do your really plan on shooting? honestly i think 15 bps is good enough for speedball and woodsball. if you plan to go higher than 20bps go with the E-grip but other wise i should advise you to get the Response trigger. and if you do go more than 20bps your probably going to have to reload ALOT because the Qloader only holds 100 pods. but its your decision.
