The feedneck would definately be the first thing to go. If I decided on this gun I would have to live with the composite frame because I couldn't afford to change that.

What really worries me is the fact that planet eclipse can change out aluminum (a fairly cheap material anyways) for this glass reinforced nylon and take $120 off the price. Is the composite material really THAT cheap?

ok, if I do spend $600 on the all metal version, that leaves me $600 to get the rest of my gear.

Hopper - $150
Tank - $150
Mask - $100

that only leaves me with $200 to get knee/elbow pads, pants, gloves, pack, and cleats.

Is it possible???

etek3 lt: the only part of this that worries me are the composite parts.

Is this something to worry about?

What all parts are made of composite material?

How much more am I going to have to spend to get that all aluminum feel that i like?

EDIT: mis-spelled word

Buying used gear is a great idea, but there is something wrong with me. I cannot but used stuff, whatever it is. It's a mental thing and there is probably nothing wrong with the used gear, but I'm extremely particular about the way I take care of my stuff. My oil gets changed EVERY 3000 miles, only twice have I let it go past 3000.

I know I could get a much better gun used for the same price, but I HAVE to buy new.

In new guns, what do you suggest?

2010 PMR
68/4500 ninja
dye rotor
dye i4's
Those are the only real specific things I want, all the rest will be divided up among pants, pads, pack, gloves, etc.
