Topics I've Started

17 December 2009 - 12:54 AM

So, I haven't been on in awhiiiiiiile, but here I am again. I just found out that a paper that was due 2 months ago, never reached my professor. I took it in to his office but he wasn't there. So I left it with the secretary with VERY clear instructions: "Please make sure this gets to Mr. Clifton." The paper counted 25% of my final grade and I got a 0 on it!!!! So instead of an A, I have a D for that class. This makes my GPA a 2.2 instead of a 2.6. I needed to maintain a 2.5 to keep my scholarship!!!!!!!! My scholarship paid for tuition and fee's. All I had to pay for were books. That's all gone now. Worst part is, I had a virus on my computer so I had to re-format my hard drive. I didn't think to back up my documents b/c I only had 1 thing in there: the paper that I had turned in a month earlier!!! So now I have no proof that I even did the damned thing. I can't get a student loan b/c for some reason, my college isn't eligible. I now have to come up with $1,600+ by Jan. 5 in order to pay for this semester. My family is already hurting financially b/c my mom lost her job a few months back. I can't take a semester off and work to pay for this semester b/c I won't be covered by my parents health insurance. All of this b/c a God damned secretary didn't do her fucking job!

In case you haven't heard

Just in case anyone hasn't heard about Infinity Ward/Activision becoming complete and utter boobs: http://www.techpb.co...showtopic=62130

and here's the petition against it. Maybe if enough people sign it, they'll change their minds. Btw, it has been confirmed that there will be no dedicated servers.

*edit* Sorry, I just realized the petition was already posted in another topic, but if it's the main point of an entire thread, then it'll probably get signed more

Is the Rip Drive worth it?

06 October 2009 - 02:34 PM

I'm getting the BT Delta Elite soon (please don't try to talk me out of it, I know about the SP-1). I read that the rip drive only gets about 4 cases from it's battery and that it has Halo tech in it. Does that mean it will burn out after a while? I'm think about getting this new feedneck and putting my Rotor on it. That should be able to keep up with the gun on full auto right? I could sell the rip clip for cheep cheep and save a little bit on the gun. I'm just thinking that putting my Rotor on it will cost less b/c of it's battery life. Also, I heard that the stock hopper on Delta is pretty weak, so I was going to get the X-7 low profile hopper. But this feedneck cost's about the same. So what do y'all think?

Flurry or Leapers?

05 October 2009 - 11:06 AM

So i'm really getting back into woods ball and I want to get a tactical paintball vest. So I've been looking around and these are my two choices:

Now I know a lot of people are going to say "Flurry ftw!!!!!!!111oneoneone" just b/c that's what they've heard of. So please only give me your opinion if you have first hand experience with either of these vest.

I've heard that the Flurry's are pretty warm, and I'm pretty hot natured. The Leapers vest looks pretty mesh-y, so I think it would be cooler. Both vests can carry 8 140 round pods, but it kinda looks like the flurry has elastic ejectors on the back. I know you can get your name for free on he flurry, but my mom is a monogramming master, so I could get the same on the Leaper. Now about the tank pouch. From the pics, the Flurry's pouch looks big enough to hold my 68/45, but will the Leapers?

Thanks ahead of time for all the opinions. I'm really torn between these 2 vests.

*edit* I also like that the Leaper's vest can zip up, while the Flurry has to be taken off over your head.

SP-1 Club?

30 September 2009 - 05:53 PM

I've been looking through the member clubs trying to find an SP-1 one, and there don't seem to be any. If there aren't any, then does some one want to make one? I'm just to lazy and ir-responsible to have a club
