Sweet review Mike! Thanks a lot. I was looking at the M-Tac but was scared with the 1000 dollar price tag but this looks like a perfect inexpensive alternative. I own an X7 and at first I liked it but have been having mixed feelings about it lately. Thinking of trading it in for an SP-1 and this pretty much sold me. :)

Sign me up. Great rules to play paintball by. :)

I am Christian as well. We aren't putting these rules above God's word(at least I hope not), then I would have a problem with this. I didn't read anything about sacrificing a cow to Ego the paintball god so I think we are good. Have fun and be safe at the same time, if that's what this is promoting, I'm all for it. :)

I want to go but Ill be on a plane back home from the east coast on the 23rd. My only concern is with this event and other FPO events is I want to bring FS rounds. Anyone know if they allow you to bring FS rounds or if they are going to provide them at the field?

Smaller balls would actually make it less accurate, given even a slight breeze.

If you want accuracy, you want something that will not change course as easily during flight, aka heavier, aka larger ball

Sir Isaac Newton agrees with this post.

not necessarily larger, just more dense. The problem with that is if you up the density and weight you have to lower the speed for it to be safe. A heavier round carries more energy with it. Now the problem is how to make a paintball more dense. If you make the casing thicker it would be harder to break. A thicker fill will increase weight. This could also make it a lot harder to wipe it off as well. This is why paint choice is way more important than the kind of barrel or gun you have when it comes to accuracy.

Tiberius made the almost perfect paintball when they introduced the First Strike rounds. It's definitely a step in the right direction. Just by adding that little skirt on a paintball changed everything about distance and accuracy in the sport. Sniper is actually a position that is usable now. I think this is just the beginning. In the next few years we are going to see rifled barrels that actually work with these skirted paintballs.

That's awesome! I could never get away with wearing one of those. My girlfriend says she worries about me because I wear Judo shorts(long loose shorts with a crapload of pockets). She thinks the are capris.
I'd rock a kilt in a heartbeat though, the look so frickin cool!
