98 Sniper

22 November 2009 - 03:47 PM

Hey everyone,
I'm going to be starting a project and converting a Tippy 98 into a bolt action sniper rifle. I will also be modding it so I can breach feed First Strike rounds into it.

I was wonder what length barrel everyone thinks I should buy. I was thinking around 20 inches to keep the sniper look. Will the 20 inch barrel have a negative effect on the FS round?

Thanks!

Next upgrade?

01 November 2009 - 11:12 PM

Alright everyone,
I'm going to get Confirmed soon so I receive money for that, then Thanks Giving I get some money for from my Aunt, then Christmas. So I'm wondering what accessory I should buy next.

Current set-up:
BT-4 S.W.A.T.
Lapco BigShot 14" barrel
Lapco mock suppressor
BT16 barrel shroud
BT CAR stock
C02 tank with Remote
(I have an HPA tank: 48ci 3000psi. lasts about 200 shots lol)

So next I was thinking, Rip Clip with Tac-Cap, laser, red dot sight (mostly for looks), sling, and what else do you guys would think look good on an M4?

Thanks for any input!!

Grills lense cleaning

31 October 2009 - 10:50 PM

Hey everyone,
Just wondering how to clean the lense on my V-Force Grills. I was told to dip them in some water. Do I allow them to sit in the water for a little while? Hot or Cold water? Will water take the Thermo-Cure stuff off?

Thanks everyone!!

Proto Switch Pro Axis vs. V-Force Grills

25 October 2009 - 07:59 PM

Hey guys n' gals,
Going to buy a new mask soon. Which mask do you think will prevent fogging the best?
Background info:
My current mask is a Walmart mask. $20 just to get me playing, but I'm still playing with it. It fogs to the point where I can't see. I take it off and wipe it out with my hand, but that doesn't help much. Soooo..
Competitor #1: I was leaning towards the Protos at first but heard you really need the fan. What turned me off to this was that the fan costs an extra $50.00 on top of the money you spend on the mask. I mean if it really is an excellent mask and a lot better than the Grills, I'll go for it.
Competitor #2: But now the Grills I have heard to be extremely fog resistant.. and for a few bucks cheaper, they sound pretty decent. The only reason I am hesitant to buy them is that infamous forehead dip. I'd imagine it hurts like a junker to be shot square in the forehead.

Mask

Hey everyone,
Fogging is getting old. I hate it. It gets to the point where I can't see and I end up playing with my mask up. The mask that I currently have is one of those $20.00 jobs. What mask do you people think prevent fogging the best? I was looking at the V-Force Profiler Goggles or the V-Force Grill Goggles. What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance!
