Yes and No, let me explain...If your not upgrading the Tippmann with Tippmann only products (i.e. barrels, stock, cyclone feed, response triggers, flatline...etc.) and you can get it cheap then yes. Tippmanns need very little maintenance, just some oil now and then, and you can beat the heck out of them and they still shoot great.
Now if your buying new or going to spend $100+ there are a lot of other markers as long as you keep your eye out and stay patient then you can land a good deal. I purchased my Tippmann 98 new years ago and wish I never had. I spent $150 for a marker I don't use anymore, a mask that was below par, a tiny CO2 tank, and a 200 round hopper. I ended up buying a response trigger, stock, camo kit, longer barrel, cyclone feed...blah blah. I probably have more in that then I do in my Ego 06.
So, if its a good deal and your not upgrading it...sure why not....if ts new then no.
