I have this old case:

And i'd like to make it a little more interesting. My first thoughts were polishing the aluminum, painting it up nice and awesome, or steampunk, but before starting anything, I'm curious to see what this forum can come up with.

So, what do?

EDIT: I also have about 3000 feet of fiber optic cable I'd like to get rid of...

More gravity loader tests.

Awhile back I did a quick test out of curiosity to see how fast a gravity loader could feed:http://www.techpb.co...howtopic=172832

I had some time this weekend so I repeated the test with a brass eagle pocket hopper and a vertical stick feed:

I used the actual forward motion of the string to propel the ball. It works kind of like a sling shot.

Balls are muzzle loaded and the string is drawn, then fired. I haven't chronoed it, but I would guess it shoots high 100s to low 200s.

On Sabots and slingshots...

I was recently pondering the sabot test trying to think of a way to reliably and quickly fire saboted rounds, and I began to wonder: if you were to fire a paintball via a slingshot apparatus, would the 'bucket' of the slingshot act like a sabot, and therefore make a slingshot a more accurate device than a conventional marker?

Lets pretend, for the sake of this argument, that the slingshot can shoot a ball at 300fps.
