About Me

Hey, I'm Bro. Jeff

I played a little paintball in the late 90's when I was a teen. Had a brass eagle sting-ray. At the time with the guys I played with, just having a semi auto marker made you a bad dude. Well, Got a job, Got marryed, made some kids. And didn't realy even think about paintball for 12 years. Then on Labor Day 2008, My freind Bri. called me up and asked have you ever played paintball? I said "yea, but it been a while. Well as you can guess I was in for a shock,Man! Paint had changed a bit. I mean thes guys had the cool masks, we used safty glasses from Ace hard ware. Ether these dudes were decked out in full camo, or sporting matching jersys, pants and gloves that looked more like motor cross gear. I had swet pants and 2 T-shurts on. But it was cool. The biggest change was ofcorce the gunns....Wow!! The E-gunns were killing out there.

When I did go to play I picked up a used JT tack-5. "I know not much of an up from the stingray" But it was trusty! After the first shot I was hooked again. I was glad to know that the heart of the game had not changed at all. We were smashing each other that day and every one was cool. And E-gun or not I still got my kills. Well, we played every weekend for about 2 months and entered a small 3 on3 terny. So I needed a faster gun. Me and 2 buds got our hands on 3 used Syder Pilots. "Yes I know now, Big mistake". These guns worked fine at first. You see we were using jt paint, yea like monter stuff. So we never really had any ball breaks in the barrel, "Or any where else, LOL" Come day of the terny we bought the feild paint. And it begain............. All three markers were shooting salad All day long. It was sick!! And we had other problems like feed neaks breaking and parts flying off the gun. After that mess I started asking around about what the the most dependable marker. And yup I got my first TIPPMANN..

98 model, with a 14" J&J, drop forword and folding stock used for less the $40. Soild MAN. I had more power and range than ever. My other guns could never hit 300 fps. Not problem with a TIPPMANN. Started thinking Hopper Upgrade and more speed? And took the leap. Up untill that point all my guns were cheapo used stuff. I got a New TIPPMANN X7, stock price $299. I was used to playing semi with my 98. But I now had a hopper that never choped so it was'nt so bad. But Pay day after payday I added parts. And I now have a beast of a GUN. The biggest add on was the $99 E-grip and $15 two finger trigger witch lets me walk it in semi. Now I know Your thinking "OH,, this guys another millsim Nut!" But I am realy Not. I just wanted a high end USA made marker. Bad News, do the math over $400 bucks. I play alot off speedball at 2 feilds near by. The X7 does well agenst all the other guns. And someone always asks, "Is that thing on full auto?" The EGO bratz can't help but to respect the seed. I let my Ion hooked bro.-in-law use it and he loved it, he wants to get one.

Well thats my paintball story. and it hasnt even been a year since Iv'e been back in it. If anyone READS THIS please send me your story on how you started playing and what you shoot people with. Laters .
