I've fallen out of touch with paintball in recent years, I can only afford to play pump occasionally. The economy doesn't support luxury sports, and the industry doesn't try to adapt. I've moved on to become a drummer in a local Denver area band, a hobby that actually earns me money. I still dream of the day I can afford to shoot a matrix every weekend without becoming homeless.

All in all, it wasn't cheap to build the AR, even though I started with a stripped lower receiver, which I DID get a good deal on (Rock River, $100, usually $150 or so). About $450 for the upper assembly which was the most expensive part section. I think I spent close to $800-$850 over the course of six months before sitting down and putting it together.
