You guys ever get hit by nostalgia thinking back to when you were a newb in this sport?
When things just seemed a bit more complicated? When you really thought your buddy's spyder was a high performance marker? When you lusted after the electro markers and hoppers that you had never actually seen, but have heard speak of? When you could just barely imagine the prowess a gun shooting 20bps would bring you?
When 20 inch barrels gave you extra distance and accuracy? When this gun clearly shot further and more accurate than that gun because it was more expensive. When there were snipers and machine gunners? When you would take your gun and gear out and mess with it just for fun.
When you didnt care about all the little things, but rather just enjoyed playing. That shitty old JT mask with the scratched lens that kept fogging didnt put a damper on your day at all, you just liked playing paintball. When you didnt religiously bring microfiber cloths with you, because a simple wipe on your shirt was all you needed to get your lens ready for more carnage?
When the stories were endless after playing paintball... When you would go home and bore everyone that didnt care to tears, because of that one time you were hiding behind a rock and they walked right by you and you turned and shot them from behind. The stories just kept coming, and you could talk for hours on end without losing your breath.
Man, I dont even tell anyone paintball stories anymore. Its kind of depressing.
