that little brouchure is pretty cool doesnt look like they have to many mags for it though

So far, thats the only thing that sucks about the Phenom.

Other than that, Mike did say the Phenom was a Bit Heavy in his Radio Show last night and I guessin the heaviness he stated had to do with the built in Regulator.

I'm not too professional with Tippmans, but I did notice the description says it's an aluminum body... maybe that adds the weight verses their typical composite bodies?

300psi on a spool getting 1400 shots off a 68/45 is pretty impressive. There are a lot of "tourney" guns running at a lower PSI that don't get that (Mini, g3, SLG, etc). Hell, the Geo, Crome, and DMs only get in the 1400 shot range.

That's pretty sweet. I wish they sponsored me.

I will hope for no biased opinions if paint testing or RPS partners products come along and such =)

Maybe if they get Kee behind it or something, but right now I'm not sure these guys have anywhere near the support they need to make this more than a sideline thing. Even Smart Parts isn't canning their .68 cal guns.. They won't even put the Smart Parts logos on these things, and I think that says something about whether they expect it to replace .68.

Kee umbrellas SP, does it not?

From what I recall this weekend, prices have not been set. I would say the range of estimates is between 25 and 40 per case to the end user.

I shot the gun, and it was pretty sweet at short range and seemed to work pretty decent on an XBall field. However, in my world of paintball woods/scenario/rec XBall fields are really tiny. I have to admit it performed better than I expected, but I expected it to be totally garbage. It was usable in my opinion, but nothing I personally think will work for what I play.

We will be doing more testing.

Holy shit! Kevin lives!!!!!

Yes, I am keeping a fair amount of skepticism regarding this. They are touting this as being for woodsball players, but the only (large) company that I know that has really stepped up for woodsball people has been Tippmann. Tippmann say no to .50 caliber so I am curious about thier rationale.

And I don't like double posting but Tippman has not said no. In multiple press releases I read they simply said they are going to wait and see, but they are not saying no or yes just yet.
