In Topic: Lurker Barrel Underbore Question

Will the paint really break more with only a .005 under bore?

.005 no, but .007 yes you start to have breaks. The problem is that most paint except for the high grades, even in the same case, can vary in size as much as .002 per ball. If your paint of choice is really .689 (which is bigger than most) a lurker probably isn't the best choice for you. I really love my lurker barrels, but I had a case last year that was that big and it was a bit of a head ache.

Well I'll remember that. Any idea how to fix the trigger so it shoot then cocks. I know it's suppose to do that because in mikes trinity pump kit for the trilogy the gun shot then cocked out of the box

Pull the bolt out and insert an Allen key into the whole in the top and down into the hammer below (you may have to use the cocking rod to help align the hammer with the hole). Turn the key counter clockwise to raise the lug away from the sear and move the firing point earlier in the pull. With the trilogy, the cocking point is fixed in the middle of the pull so you just want to be able to trip the sear somewhere in the first third, a little earlier than you describe. You could probably get away with a full turn up if they are on top of one another.

Are either the poppet or spool design more consistent than the other, or is that mostly about the regulator?

I always enjoy reading test data in this forum! If you haven't already, you might want to confirm the bore of the lurker.
