The trigger has side to side play and you can feel it rubbing the grip frame. It did say I hit 18 bps on uncapped semi this past Sunday, but feel a luxe trigger or a bl trigger or a pe trigger and the macdev one is clearly the worst. It's not horrid or a deal breaker like the demon trigger was for me, but there is room for improvement
just got a clone this weekend and gotta say I'm pretty damn impressed. Quiet, good efficiency for a spool, and not that hard to maintain. Cleaned and lubed everything in under half an hour and that was the first time. Only thing it needs is a better trigger, but at least the trigger is miles ahead of the demon's.
When you say the trigger could be better do you mean that it isn't a bearing trigger or it has alot of side to side movement or just a feel thing? And thanks to you guys for the quick and helpful reviews.
I would go for the vice if you can get a good price on one. I bought mine about a month after they came out and I still love it. Great efficiency and the board is fairly simple to learn and adjust to your liking. The only thing i would recommend is to find a barrel set you like or a couple barrels to add to the .691 you get stock. I live in northern illinois so unless it is the middle of the summer I usually bore RPS Premium at .685 with my one piece CP. Either way I don't think you could go wrong with any of the three your looking at.
