In Topic: Azodin Blitz VS Zenith

Ok, so i have only been playing paintball for a couple years. I own a Tippmann a-5 and love it to death, but i want a more versatile gun. id kinda like to start playing some speed, and i am on a fairly tight budget. i am really liking the Azodin line of guns, and i like the air efficiency of blowbacks. i am trying to get a new gun within the week, and dont want to spend too much over 300.

i really like the fact that the azodin guns run on co2 as well as HPA. i live in a small town, and it is hard to fill HPA around here. i am not dead set on getting an azodin, but they are my preference from what research i have done. Is there enough difference between the Blitz and the Zenith to spend the extra $80, or should i look in a completely different direction. I plan on getting a Halo Invert too loader for whatever gun i get.

whatever gun i get, it needs to be reliable, efficient, and have a decent BPS.

the kaos the blitxz and the zenith all have the same basic body style and have just a few upgrades a you go down the line.... the kaos has a simi auto non electro trigger, a basic dove tail monted ASA and a gas threw for-grip. the blitz has an electric trigger, a twist lock feed neck, a good regulator and a 14"barrel, the Zenith has a electric trigger, the same borad as the blitz and the same reg, but it has a clamping feed nech a two pce barrel and a ON/OFF ASA

Hey, just seeing if anybody is going to Colors "Big Game" this Sunday. Last time I went there was about 100-150 people, I believe. It's just a big woodsball game, but it's a pretty fun time. Pretty good prices too, if you buy a case for $40, then you get free entry, air, and hotdogs. So $40 for a day of fun is pretty good, I know I'll be going.

that was a sweet game! we were the team with the banner on the hood of our truch that said the GHOSTS on it, i was the one in the gillie killin people lol btw we were orange team

In Topic: TIPPMANN 98 VERSUS SPYDER MR1

13 May 2010 - 12:09 PM

OK, so here's my current setup/problem: I have two paintball guns; a black maxx pmi, and a tippmann 98 custom limited edition 20th anniversarry comemorative marker. I have never went paintballing with the Tippy. I keep it boxed up where it has accumulated value over time. (It's a collector's marker) so anyway, pbreview says that i could sell it for 250. They sell on ebay for around 150. After i sell that marker, i will be selling my black maxx for around 25, so i will not own a gun for a short period of time. I'll need to buy a new gun shortly after. The things i like in a gun are:
1. mechanical (non-electric) marker because i play woodsball only, and i play in rain, snow, or heat
2. double trigger because i love the feel of walking a trigger and putting alot of paint down the field
3. i like the feel of a stock for stability

Should I-
1. buy a normal tippmann 98 custom with the money i make off of the sales of the other two guns and then upgrade it to fit my specifications?
2. buy a spyder mr1 and save money while having all of those features come in stock?
3. do something else? what else could i find that's under 150-200 bucks that fits my preferences?

Those are the conditions. Good luck debating...

man, the tippmann is going to blow the MR1 out of the water. unless you like shooting half of a paintball every shot. it chops alot, the tippy you can upgrade and the MR1 is a peace of junk
