Somewhat off-topic, but I would seriously love it if DP would release a color kit for the G3 already! Seeing the beautiful ano and contrasting colors of the Rev-i just makes me want a kit even more!

I wonder if the Rev-i trigger will be interchangeable with the G3? (yes, I know they are not the same gun but it's certainly not out of the ordinary to standardize parts)

I also lost my mother to cancer in December 2000. It's hard to believe that it has been 8 years already. I have grown so much and come so far in those past 8 years that she never got to witness, but I know she would be proud.

I still think about her regularly. I only wish I knew back then how much she means to me now.
Although she is gone, the memories never fade. (and I'm a pretty forgetful guy ;))

Seriously fella's, whatever grudges you may have or if your parents annoy you, brush it aside once in a while... it's just not worth harboring those bad emotions and remind your parents how much they really mean to you.

In Topic: Best RPG of all time?

What makes this question so difficult to answer is the primary difference between Eastern and Western -style RPGs and the fact that many fans are heavily biased towards one or the other.

After saying that, I'm a JRPG kind of guy :) so my views might be a little skewed

JRPGs (eastern) generally have a more emotional storyline and has much deeper philosophical roots than what is on the surface. Although the story involves a primary hero and villain, you are responsible for maintaining multiple characters which also have their own intertwining storylines. The battle sequences are also traditionally turn-based which tends to bore a lot of non-JRPG-gamers. (this trend is starting to fade quite a bit though)

Western RPGs (at least to Americans/Europeans) are the more traditional style. Think Dungeons & Dragons. You're normally responsible for your own character and that's it. I personally find the stories to be somewhat bland (although both styles are still very cliche)

And then you have MMORPGs which are also primarily in western style. This is a different animal and I do not categorize them as true RPGs.. but maybe only because I'm more old-school :) To be honest, I have not played an MMORPG yet so I agree that it's unfair for me to criticize it. The fact that there is no ending to the story makes me think that there isn't much story to them. It's usually the story that keeps me playing to find out what happens next.

Ok.. so if anyone is even still reading my post, here's my vote: Final Fantasy VII, with several other JRPGs in line behind it.
Given how far consoles have changed since PS1 days, I think it deserves to be remade although I know it will never happen. That game was just too huge to do it all over again.
