Paintball in liquids

28 March 2010 - 07:00 AM

So I was a little bord last night. So Id thought id share my findings of my meaningless test......

I had 3 glass cups, filled one with water. Dropped a paintball in there. It quickly started to dissolve and paint started spewing out. in the morning it was a glob of paint sitting on the bottom of the cup.

In the second glass I had it full of Vinegar. Dropped a paintball in there. It started to dimple a little, then almost seem to fold up on its self. Now in the morning, it expanded by a whole lot and all broke apart. It looks like I put 3 balls in there, it expanded that much!!

The third and final glass had 45% alcohol in there. After an hour or so, nothing happened. Now in the morning, STILL nothing happened. its like the alcohol is preserving it. its still in its original form. Its a little soft, due to the liquid, but other than that, nothing has happened after 8 hours of sitting in a liquid.

so Im sorry if Ive bord you with my little test. But I do suggest grabbing a paintball and putting it in Vinegar, its really neat what happens to it.

I found a breakdown of the content of this stuff, first google hit.......

Fusion Question

16 March 2010 - 09:56 PM

I posted this in the noob section, cause im kind of a noob, but got no response, maybe this will work.....

When reading about my gun, i learned that the gauge on the gun should read about 200-250psi when shooting, and it does, but when I stop shooting it very slowly climbs up to 300 psi, even a lil past that sometimes. just wondering if this is normal. or is my reg a lil messed up? all in all my gun shoots GREAT. But im thinking it could be bad if it climbs too high. It always knocks back down to 200-250 psi when i shoot it, just climbs as soon as I stop.

thanks for the help ahead of time :)
