Entered video competition. Votes appreciated :)

02 May 2011 - 10:38 AM

Hey there fellow techpbers. V Energy Drink have been running a little video competition over here in New Zealand: The V 48 Seconds. A brief explanation from the V website:
The V 48 SECONDS Mildly Furious Filmmaking competition is back for 2011! As the official warm up to the V 48 HOURS film competition, this competition will help you get your creative juices flowing for the big show. The rules are simple, pick a well known scene from any movie, recreate it in all its glory while integrating a V product into the scene as seamlessly as you can. Your film has to be 48 Seconds in length.

Some friends and family got together (at very short notice) and made this with, admittedly, outdated gear  (Mac Mini G4 anyone? :dodgy: lol ) http://www.youtube.c...h?v=Ygee-hTGu-Q (I was editor)

Also, the night before the comp ended I threw this together by myself for a laugh (Laugh with it, or at it. Either one is fine ):

Now there is a peoples choice category, and, if after watching these you feel either is worth a couple minutes of your time, you can vote on facebook:
Lord of the Rings entry or Shaun of the Dead Entry
Voting can be done once every 24 hours, until the 6th May.
Thanks in advance for any that do vote. If you don't vote, for whatever reason, that's cool too B)
Cheers all!

Ironman trigger in 09 Pmr?

14 July 2010 - 04:22 AM

I know this question has been asked, but will a Ironman trigger fit the UL frame in my 09 Rail? I've seen this asked before, usually with the result of 10 people saying 'no, the triggers in the rail are different from those in UL Dye guns' and one smug person saying 'they do fit, I have one'. So... Clarification anyone? (Pictorial evidence appreciated :) )
