I have been playing since 1996. I have purchased 2 brand new guns. 1 was the very first gun I bought, a Brass Eagle Tigershark. The second was a 2k Autococker. Since then I have probably bought 30+ used guns. Not only is there a delicious cost savings, but if you take even a little time to learn how the gun you're interested in works, you will be able to do repairs as well or better than any local 'airsmith'. Just through my own curiosity, I have become a go-to knowledge center on the original Matrix. People think there is some great mystery to how paintball guns work. In the end, it's pretty basic, and I don't feel the need to rely on the crutch of some 'airsmith' who may or may not have the IQ of the average donkey.
