does it need to be an outkast? the outkasts are nice, i own one, but any of the mechanical outocockers are nice. id check craigslist, you can usually get a steal on one because most likely the person isnt going to know what theyve got, so a better deal will be had. if you can go for an older evolution but definately stay away from anything newer than a 2k4. after that WGP guns go to crap. the prostocks and orracles as well as the 2k3 vertical feeds are good. basically as long at its timed right and there is a good paint to barrel match, the gun will shoot like a dream. no need for a super nice reg or fast hopper cus most mechanical gun dont shoot more than about 8bps. hope this helps.
its not the 3ways fault. its because youve got a hinge trigger frame on there. hinge frames unlike slider frames pust the timing rod forward. on a hinge frame the hoses go in the order you see the matching barbs. left on the block end of ram, middle to lpr, and right to other end of ram. on a slider frame, the right and left hoses are switched
it may just need to be timed. shouldnt be too many things wrong with it cus the backblock is moving. check out the various timing an autococker vidios on you tube for help. there are a ton of them and its not real hard. you can also check out customcockers.com/forum for a ton of cocer related info.
ahh man its definately worth the drive. all he closest paintball fields are almost an hour away from me. we just get used to it. yeah i like operation but i think i over played it. got a little bored cus it never changes. and the weve had issues with the refs lately. but seriously, how can you pass on hour long games wit 300 people playing?
ive not heard of a 98 pump. just get a used autococker pump or not. you can puck them up for around 80 to 100 buck and a economy pump kit is around 30 bucks. and yeah, WGP is moving way downhill. but good for us who still like them because we can pick up used one for dirt cheap. i picked up an OutKast for 85 and they retailed for 550.
