No soda = Wierd effects

23 June 2012 - 05:00 AM

I haven't had a soda since Christmas day. Just stopped cold turkey, it got rid of my chronic stomach ache's, iv'e been sleeping better, and I just been feeling better overall.

Weird things have been happening recently though. I took a shower recently and when I got out suddenly I felt too dizzy to walk, I sat down and, everything started turning blue and sounded like it was coming through a far away tunnel, I could feel as if I was fainting, and everything looked like it was getting far away, so I yelled and got my little brother to grab me a coke and it got rid of those effects which I assumed was low blood sugar, 5 minutes later it was all gone. The bad thing is that its been happening quite a bit lately, just recently I was working out and ran a mile and I felt like I was about to die, same effects as before, I could barely get myself to walk down the stairs and my friend got me a coke. 5 minutes and half a coke later I was perfectly fine.

I've also been craving lots of honey, like every time I think of honey I want some. Is there any healthier way to get rid of this than drinking a coke? Maybe a tea?

Porting = Less accurate

A small diameter paintball (.675") is tethered in a large-bore (.693") unported barrel. Contrary to the popular belief that balls will bounce down a large bore, you can see that the airflow around the ball will suspend it in the center of the barrel. As long as the ball is accelerating, and air is escaping past it, this effect will occur. If the barrel is too long, or heavily ported, the effect will diminish and allow the ball to touch the sides of the barrel, increasing shot spread. My other testing has indicated that the smallest shot spread will come from a barrel about 9" in length, with a large overbore and no porting.

As you can see this shows an explanation of why an overbore is usually more accurate.

The air goes around the ball therefore making the ball "float" down the barrel in the very center.

Now when theres porting the air around the sides of the ball will dimish letting the ball hit the sides of the barrel and then screwing up accuracy.
Hammerhead barrels have almost no porting on them, maybe thats whats getting some people good results with them?

Am I the only one who noticed this?

The top is the symbol of the Combine from the Half Life series (best games ever made) and the bottom is the Inspire company logo. Am I THE ONLY ONE SEEING A SIMILARITY HERE!?!?!

Making my own paintballs

24 February 2012 - 11:39 PM

Im going to make my own paintballs, I am serious about this. I also couldnt think of anywhere else to put this so I put it here.

Anywho I need some help, does anybody have a shell recipe? I can make my own fill, and where can I get a plastic mold to put the shells on, I was thinking of something like the molds you see on the hydrotech paintball videos.

I will seal the paintball halfs together then inject the fill with a tiny syringe and use a miniscule dab of superglue to cap the hole.

Any tips on doing this? Anybody else try this? Im tired of spending 65 bucks a case and want to save the money, I have ALOT of time on my hands right now and am very bored so I think this would be a fun project for me.

Also how do paintballs get text put on them? I would like to do that on some paint if possible.

Virtued rotor vs. V3 rotor

Whats better, an original rotor with a virtue soft cycle and virtue board or a V3 stock rotor?
