In Topic: LL3 Cheating caught on Traumahead

If Ced's latest info and evidence is all true, I wish to offer my apology to the dudes in the tank. Don't worry if you ever decide to come to Hawaii, we (I) promise not to eat you the way we did Captain Cook. I'm sorry, Team Preds.

Ced, you're deserving of candy from Hawaii for taking what can only be construed as a difficult stand on this matter. Mahalo (thank you) for being up and up.

Aloha,

P.S. I hope "Decay of Nations" is controversy free... yeah, right. :(

Fuck yeah. *salute*

I hope that's a one-finger salute at Yellow.

"...at Yellow?" You should rephrase that. I played for "Yellow" as did multitudes of others who didn't even think of cheating in one form or another because it wasn't in our nature. And take away my Jack Daniels if I'm wrong, but I think I can speak for my multitudes that these incidents of cheating, bending of rules, and dangerous behavior by said individuals and small cadre, who just happened to be on the Yellow side, pisses us off, too!

I got to play with Canadians "Thunder Bay" and St. Louis' "Total Greif" and we all played with honor. Had we been wearing red armbands Gen. Honu, Sean and Mike P. would have been proud. And not just us, but also of the many, many more "Yellow" teams and individuals that played the honor card. I can understand "Red" being collectively pissed and angry, but look carefully through your crosshairs before you shoot. Please don't make all of "Yellow" guilty by association of color.

I usually try not to get involved in such matters, but I have an offer to the driver, the gunner, and to anyone "Yellow" or "Red" that abused the card system. I've played paintball with honor for 27 years now. Come to Hawaii so we (I) can re-educate you the way we taught Captain Cook. Bastards.

My sincere Aloha to "Yellow" and "Red",

Good grief, Ms. Kitty! 26.5 hours coming back home to Honolulu? Where'd you get stuck at? My scheduled noon flight back to Hawaii was cancelled (Memorial Day) due to a pretty violent storm cell that formed directly above Midway Airport just before boarding time. Some 20+ jets were stranded on the tarmac when authorities decided to close the airport. Delta rescheduled me to fly out of Atlanta direct to Honolulu @ 6am the next morning. Not wanting to spend the night at the airport, I caught a cab back to the Fairfield in Joliet and partied an extra night with Mel and Rod of CCM and the boys from Thunder Bay, Canada. That, in itself, made my flight delays seem insignificant. Kitty, I'm glad you made it back home to the islands safely!

Aloha,
Brandon

Distance wise, both Kitty and I flew to LL3 from the island of Oahu, State of Hawaii. That's about 4249 miles one way to Chi-Town, nearly 10 hours in the air non-stop OR 16 hours with connections in Los Angeles and Minneapolis, via Delta, before landing in Illinois. Sean flew in from Argentina which is farther than the separate distances traveled by Kitty, myself and even Borg, nearly 500 miles more.

Finally, after 27 years of playing paintball and running fields, I get to participate in my first "big" game! Mahalo (hawaiian for "thank you") to Viper, Cpx, the commanders, and everybody taking part in LL3. This event means a heck of a lot to me. I'm a happy camper and I'm looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can.
