TechPB listed together with vendors/supporters

21 March 2015 - 03:36 PM

The Aftershock Scenario at EMR Aug 14-16, 2015.

The first promotional video has been released, and I noticed TechPB listed near the end.

But no chatter over here. (?)

Youtube vid:

They have a facebook page with more info.

I'm already in, recruited as one of the "League of 10" ~ members of the Exchange which is a "Black Market" selling props & info to both sides. These 10 players are made up from both sides, and have their own agenda...

I'm going to have to update my game for this one, it ain't gonna be old skool.

Rumor is there's going to be some high-tech involved, the video states electronic flag stations/props & the story line already includes the use of drones as passive surveillance.

Just look at the names involved, this is going to be a big deal. Aside from the numerous vendors, anyone who has played serious scenario should recognize some of the players already committed to making this worthy of EMRs 20th year.

I want to see a TechPB flag hanging somewhere among the bunkhouses or camping area, even if I have to make one myself with an old sheet and can of spray paint...

2015 = EMR's 20th year

04 January 2015 - 01:31 PM

Mike "Blue" Haanse has promised a spectacular year of games, going all-out giving players everything possible they've been saying they want over the last two decades.

This year I'm already planning at least 3 games there:

Spring Castle ~ They're going to retire the original structure. This is the last time anyone will be able to claim they participated in attacking or defending this classic icon that has withstood 30 assaults.

Summer Scenario ~ "AfterShock" a post-apocalyptic 26 hour Scenario with some big names already on board. A return to the "Thinking Mans' Game" with some high-tech surprises and I predict some good vendors

Holy Grail ~ Last year was like an amusement park, going from one challenge to the next like getting on different rides. (The Knights of Nee were the roller coaster)

Pump Pandemonium ~ Last year was a bust, they combined it with Grail but few showed. We shall see if the players can pull another rabbit out of the hat & get enough support this year for our own weekend like past years.

Those I'm attending, there are others on the schedule. I hope to post links for each as they come up.

Coming soon~ Gargoyle mark 2

15 October 2014 - 04:18 PM

Rodney from Remember The Ronin has been producing the Gargoyles.
At the stock game last weekend, He announced plans for a new & improved version that takes into account all the things owners of the originals said they would like to see.

Very soon there will be a kickstarter campaign online for pre-orders, which is normally lower than the cost once production starts.

After Rodney works it all out - (it sounded like he had a solid base for taking this to the public)- I'll be able to give updated links.

Stay tuned for more info....

EMR combines Holy Grail/Pump Pandemonium

12 July 2014 - 02:04 PM

Aug 16/17, 2014.
EMR has a weekend with Pump-Only games starting Friday, and the Quest for the Holy Grail on Saturday, mini games Sunday both pump-only & mixed.

It's a toss up for me which is the better draw. Both the holy grail games and pandemonium always meant two trips to EMR each year. This year they are both together, and it's gonna mean some serious competition between the pumps & the others over space in the bunkhouses.

Better be pre-regged.
