I'd go with the profit. That double strap really helps keep it secure on ur head.

Well even if he doesnt go with you he will see that you want to go.. I went to plenty of tournaments by myself and spectated, wishn to be in there. And now I am. Just show your dedication. hell, if you are anywhere near SC Village I will go with you to a tournament. its always nice to have someone else there with you to hang out with even if ur not playing.

Show them you are dedicated by doing research on the sport inside and out. Take them to a tourny or two at your local field and show them what paintball is all about. Find some friends that want to get into it as well. I had a hard time with my parents when I first started but I showed them how much I wanted to play by buying my first marker set up and gear. later they hooked me up with better stuff. Just show them you want it. This is not a cheap sport. Money will be spent but the Fun you have playing is much more benefitial.
