About Me

About me... Let's see, I am originally from central Florida but moved to Washington State not long ago. For what I have seen I am older than most here in the forums, do I feel old playing the sport? Not a chance, you are only as old as you feel and I feel petty darn young.
I started paintball in 2000 and played through 2004 a minimum of once every to weeks, in 2004 the company I worked for a long time went bankrupt and I lost my job, at the same time all my buddies I played with moved to other states and then decided to sell my gear and give up paintball for a while. That turned in to 6 years when recently my son told me he wanted to play PB (I guess he remembered when his dad would go out on Saturdays to play some PB but could not go as he was not old enough) for his birthday and I said yes, took him to the field and I watched him play. I was bitten by the PB bug and it was all it took to bring me back to the sport.
I started looking for information on the current markers, air systems, loaders, etc etc. INEVITABLY i stumbled to one of Mikes video reviews, my first impression was "who the hell is this bald guy and who does he think he is" lol, but the more I looked as his videos (I think I have seen about 80% of his videos by now) and the more I found out about him I though "this guy really knows his shit". Of course the vids led me to TechPB web site and TechPB web site led me to TechPB forum.
So I want to thank Mike, all the staff at TechPB and everyone in the forums (if I had a question not answered in one of Mikes videos I would search through the forums and find my answer, did not even have to post a topic) as they were all a great help in making my purchasing decisions of PB equipment for my son and me, tell me the current status of the sport, events and more.
The best thing is that I will have many great experiences and memories of Saturdays spent at the PB field with my son, who I love and is the source of all my pride joy.
Once again Thanks Mike and all TechPB for helping the sport and caring, your hard work does not go unnoticed and does not fall in to deaf ears.
