bob long on/off button supposed to have a hole?

08 October 2011 - 03:29 PM

upgrading my marq board from stock to ryujin, but i noticed that instead of having a clear plastic piece where the stock LED flashes, the tadao board has nothing. This leaves the on-off button pad with just a hole where dirt can get into the gun. is this normal?

empire contact pants

2 questions

1. is there a big diff between the Contact TW (2012), Contact Zero TW (2012), and Contact LTD TW (2012)? Reading the mfg descriptions it just seems like the zero pants are thinner than the normal ones, and i'm not quite sure how the LTD model compares to the other 2.

2. What size should I get? For normal pants I fit a size 30-30 perfectly. i'm 5'6, 140lb. According to the empire sizing chart online, i would best fit an XS? that doesnt sound right to me.

if you could take the time to chime in with your empire pant size and/or normal pant size, please also note which year/model you are referring to. thanks!

do you hold your pump handle forward?

19 May 2011 - 07:10 AM

i'm used to playing semi, so i have a very light grip on the pump handle. One thing i noticed while shooting my sniper pump is that the bolt/backblock/pump recoils backwards every shot. i've also tested some shots holding the handle forward, and the gun seems to be much louder that way (and doesnt feel as awesome).

what do you guys prefer?

taking apart a slider frame

13 May 2011 - 11:45 AM

for all guns i get, my favorite part is taking everything apart, both to ensure the parts are in good condition, and to understand how everything works. I've just got a wgp sliding trigger frame on this pump and i'd like to take out the sear, trigger, etc.

how do I get these parts out? is the sear pin the only thing holding everything in? if so, how do I remove the sear pin?

also, what are the 2 screws on the underside of the frame for? they look like they are meant for some sort of adjustment but i cannot figure out for what.

thanks for your help!
