Autococker Respring

25 July 2010 - 08:47 AM

Hey all. I just bought a Psychoballistics Superbolt with a pump kit and the guy I bought it from said that I may or may not have to "respring" it. Now, from what he told me, I will need a spring kit and a valve tool. I was hoping somebody could explain to me what I will be doing in the event that I need to respring the marker. I know that there are different types of springs and, since I have an uncanny knack for messing up any kind of repair job, I figured that I would go to the people who know best...TechPB! Thanks.

Edit: I guess I should have titled this "Superbolt Respring" but according to the guy I bought it from, the internals are almost the same as a Cocker.

To Sell Or Not To Sell?

20 July 2010 - 10:32 AM

A few days ago I played with my friend's pump marker (I believe it was an Autococker Super Stock w/ a pump kit) and I LOVED it. It was a ton of fun and now I really want to buy a pumper but I have to decide whether I sell my Ion + upgrades (I'll post a pic later) to finance the pump marker or I just eat the cost and hang on to my Ion. It's definitely more economically responsible to sell the Ion to pay for the pumper but I'm finding the thought of parting with my Ion (which I've had for a five years now) too much to bear - its just been such a good marker! So I want to hear what you all have to say - am I just being overly sentimental or would the Ion be worth hanging onto? Thanks for your input.
