Did you check idiotland aka pbn?
Well all it does is provide a spot for the cam to work off of, I think GAT has pics of their plates, heck they got their info from me

There are FAQs expaining how an AT works
The putty is really strong(for putty) and it will round the sharp edges of a cam before it gets worn from the trigger plate from what I have expierenced
If you know how to weld or if you're good with silver solder you can also use that

he doesn't seem to be very active lately... are they hard to install on your own? what different tools would i need? he mentioned using putty and modding the slider frame... would i need to do all this? it sounds pretty complicated.

Things you need
A trigger plate made or modded to use the AT cam
A pump rod with a hole drilled and tapped for a 4-40 thread
The AT cam and lever
You can mod the pump rod and trigger plate yourself there is info on that thread drg posted but pics might not work
