In Topic: Playing paintball with bad knee

You should try big beefy skateboarding knee pads. I have bad knees myself and find the big hard plates with lots of padding do an amazing job of spreading out the force of pointy objects like roots and rocks. You don't feel them at all. And they just have more padding than anything else. Volleyball pads are okay for groomed speedball fields. But for most paintball fields you will really appreciate the skateboarding pads. The padding wraps around the sides of your knees as well. I went from limping around and taking my time to carefully crouch behind bunkers to full on painless knee slides. They returned about 10 years of youth to my game!

Ah that's about all I need to know about the Chronus! Thanks for the advice.

I just checked out a youtube video of a guy partially taking apart the FT-12. He didn't take apart the grip frame/lower portion of the marker. So I didn't see for sure if it's the same as the Chronus but looking at the forward offset of the grip and trigger I'm guessing it's the same inside. What problem's have you seen with the FT-12?

Thanks.

In Topic: Who uses speedball type guns for woodsball?

If you are looking to use a speedball marker in the woods might want to concider a spool valve one.  They are much quieter. I have found that to be a huge advantage at times. Personally I like mechanical semi markers or pumps for the woods. But a speedball marker just rocks anywhere you use it.

Very nice! That turned out great. I really like the neat routing of the macro. It must be really fun to cock it with the little lever.
