In Topic: New X7 Phenom Assault Edition from Tippmann

10 December 2011 - 04:17 PM

If Tippmann made a B-5 (http://www.identityc...spaintball.com/) out of the phenom and managed to get rid of the hopper in the face issue, I would be first in line. Disclaimer: I sold my woodsball gear years ago because although it looked cool, there was no function to it.

That being said, B-5 kit modded to a phenom with a q-loader? Anyone?

In Topic: Appraisal: Vice package

Post this in the appraisal section of the BST.

But here is my (very rough) estimate

Vice ~ $400 (Vice is usually around this range)
Rotor ~$100 (can vary widely based on market)
Tank ~ $80 (pure energy tanks aren't quite as popular)

If you do a trade, you can often get a little more than what you'd get for just straight up selling it. But throw this into Appraisals, and you'll get a much more accurate assessment than mine.

I'd recommend a Victory. They are very reliable, given that you maintain it properly. In fact, that goes for just about any marker. Usually people don't take care of their things, and when it starts acting funny they complain about how bad their expensive things are. This is why we can't have nice things.

You've already played with some of the best markers that the world has to offer. If you choose one and stick with it, learn how it works, how to properly maintain it, and HOW TO TUNE IT PROPERLY, you will love it. A well tuned marker feels nothing like one from the factory. They get that way because their owners put the TLC into making them shoot just the way they like it.
