Bug Bite

21 May 2012 - 03:47 PM

Dear Whateverthefuckbitmeintheback,

Today I was most inconvienienced by the discovery of a freakin' massive, swollen lump on my back. After having discovered it, I now have some questions:

How the hell did you even get to the point of half way up my back, dead in the middle of my spine? Especially since I've been indoors all day.

Why the fuck is the swelling the size of a golf ball? What are you!?!?!

Please die horribly.
Sincerely, Blarg.

End of rant. ToLongDidn'tRead? Insects are assholes.
I predicted suitable action for the swelling. Shitting on it just resulted in me getting into trouble, but that's another story.

TPX and T8.1 Advice

14 March 2012 - 11:46 AM

So, I've been using a BT SA-17 quite a while now and I decided to move up to a better, mag-fed pistol. Well, after saving up for a long time I was pleasently surprised to see I have more than enough for a brand new setup.
The two obvious choices are the Tiberius T8.1 and the Tippmann TPX. I know most of the pros and cons for both. At the moment I'm leaning more towards the TPX. But there are still some things I'm unsure of:

I'll be playing using a remote line connected to a 13ci hpa tank, so obviously I need the remote line adaptor for whichever I choose. The main reason I think the TPX is best in this case is because the adaptor brings the line out the back. As far as I can tell, the only adaptor available for the T8.1 has to be put into each mag and and the remote line has to be changed into each mag whenever I reload. Pretty terrible. Are there any alternative, better designed adaptors?
If the case is that the T8.1 adaptor I know of is the only available, I'll certainly be going for the TPX.

But I'm unsure about something with the TPX. I know that there were original magazines that broke a lot of paint or didn't work (something like that) but then there were truefeed mags without such problems. How can I tell which mags I'm buying when it just says "TPX double pack" or whatever? I'll most likely be buying here: http://www.rap4uk.co...Pack-p/7354.htm

Thanks for any and all help :)

BT SA-17 .vs. RAP4 T68 Pistol

08 August 2011 - 04:29 AM

As the title says.
I recently did another topic here with a few other pistols in this general price range. We came to the conclusion on either the SA-17 or T68, not really a full conclusion.
Consider that I hope to play with a remoteline for air and tubes for paint.

Can I use a remoteline on the T68 without buying the bottomline kit?
Are the spring fed tubes they both feature any good?
Which pistol generally features the better internals?

Thanks for any and all help :)

The Other Pistols

04 August 2011 - 03:00 PM

We all know about the two most populer pistols of choice: he Tippmann TPX and the Tiberius pistols. However I've been thinking; what about the other pistols?
Most of them are cheaper and use tubes rather than magazines.
I'm talking about stuff like the BT SA-17, RAP4 T68 pistol, Inspire P68, Hangar18 Pistol and any other pistol you can think of in that general price range.
I would like to hear everyone's opinions on these pistols. Which is best? Special features? Can they be used with a remoteline?
I've been toying the idea of possibly trying pistol play but I wouldn't want to go all out spending too much for something that may not be for me.
So I'd like opinions please! Thanks :)

Audio to Video Sync.

11 June 2011 - 08:50 AM

Alright, so I finally found a video editor for free that works with MP4's. It seems to work well in all ways except for when I import videos into it, the audio takes about a 5second step ahead of the video. Any Ideas on how to fix it?

I'm using the free version of VideoPad from here: http://www.nchsoftwa...opad/index.html

Thanks for any help guys :)
