Nope the DP front and back fit together, but you cant put like a UL or CP tip on the FX barrel back. and i was gunna buy a deadly winds barrel but no need, the stock barrel is actually pretty awsome!

In Topic: TechT "LAW" ram for DP FX

10 January 2012 - 10:47 AM

I just got the LAW ram and Hush Bolt last week for my Fx and now i got it shooting pretty tits. Its always been a pretty smooth gun but now its like ego smooth. Its much quieter and is easier to control, the first shot is always a little weird right when you air it up but besides that I love it to death. And when I talked to the guys a Tech T they said you should just use the lightest setting, that's what its made for, but they make it with heavier weights just because some people may need it for some reason? If you plan on buying a Hush bolt I would order it strait from TechT tho because there new ones come with detents you don't have to cut, even tho you can get the V2 hush bolt other places, that come with extra detents, they still wont fit right so you have to cut your detents so the bolt wont hang up. But all in all Its the best $90.00 I ever spent!

In Topic: just got a geo+

I dont have a Geo but from what I understood The Geo's had really bad drop off problems. Like once your tank got to 1,000 psi your ball would just role to the end of the barrel, the next shot would be full speed, then the next shot only go to the end of the barrel and so on, this obviously made a huge mess and was a royal pain in the ass. Like I said I never had one to tell you, but that's what I heard from the guys at the local pro shop.

In Topic: What size bore is a First Strike Round?

08 October 2011 - 02:59 PM

So over the last year i build a custom bolt action out of an old spyder compact. Long story short I Milled a slot to fit FS rounds into the breach. I already have a CP 16 in 2pc barrel, so i figured to save money i would just buy a CP barrel back with spyder thread and still use my 16in tip. I am planning on getting a .682 because i have no detents, and.682 is under bore enough to still be able to use regular paintballs.... but im afraid .682 may be to small for the FS rounds... what do you guys think?
